Sony CDX-GT510 Problem
Reply Quote
I just bought a Sony CDX-GT510 at Circuit City and had them install it in my 2003 Ford Focus. It was working fine but I noticed that when I shut off the car and turned it back on that it was not saving my radio presets or the clock settings. I took it in to them and they fixed it but now I notice when I hit a bump in the road or press the head unit it will just completely power off and then a few mins later it will power back on again. What could be the problem? How can I fix this? Is it just a loose wire?

Circuit City has a warranty on their installation, so your best option is to take it back to Circuit City (or, better yet, a different Circuit City). If you try repairing the problem yourself you'll end up voiding your installation warranty.

There are a variety of possible causes for the problem you're having.
