There are no auto machines that I'm aware of in the US. A lot of full service gas stations offer to fill the tires with nitrogen but it is around $8 a tire. Some repair garages will also offer the service.

The auto type machines would have to have high pressure tanks that would need to be refilled on a regular basis. Plus they would have to hold a large amount of cash, which may be vulnerable to theft.

Nitrogen is used sometimes to inflate tires because it doesn't expand when heated as much as regular air. For a car used on the street, there is virtually no advantage that you will feel. It is occasionally used for racing purposes

The use of nitrogen in tires is so limited in car tires that only certain tire repair shops offer the service. It costs extra for a tire fill and what happens when you have a flat tire repaired at a shop that doesn't offer the service? For regular car tires I see no need for them to have nitrogen in them.

We use nitrogen in high altitude aircraft tires because it is assured to be free from water vapor that could freeze in the cold temperatures. But it's relatively expensive compared to good old compressed air. Why would you want to use nitrogen in a car tire?

we have used nitrogen in race tires because nitrogen pressure stays more stable when temperatures go up. that said, i dont see the need to nitrogen use in street car tires.
