Tattoos are tacky. Don't make your body ugly.............

It really depends on the school's dress code. It should be listed in your school's handbook.

The school I graduated from had a really decent wrestling team and when a wrestler made it to state finals, the coach rewarded them with a tattoo of Taz wearing a wrestling singlet on their calves. (Of course, with parental consent.) There were a bunch of guys walking around school with Taz tattooed on their calves! LOL

I'm sure if the tattoos were vulgar, the school would demand they were covered up, but a star on your wrist sounds fine.

P.S. If you do need to cover it, do it with a watch or long sleeves. Bandages might make someone think you're... suicidal. LOL

Have fun!

i think you should go check out some temporary tattoos on the internet (the kind that last for a couple weeks) and wear it around and if you still like it after it wears off then go for it. If you're even remotely sick of it or want it off, wait a while, try it again and see what happens.

The temps are cheaper than a real tattoo and if you've gone this long without it whats another couple weeks ya know?

It's just plain stupid. The tattoo is a way of immaturely implicating their love for their girlfriend, when in reality they will be broken up in 6 months...and the next girl that comes along will be ticked off because his ex's name is on his back.

depends on the dress code at your school. my old high school didnt care about visible tattoos. the only problem with tattoos on your wrist are that getting a job might be harder. respectable jobs wont allow you to have visible tattoos.... you would have to cover it up with a band-aid or a long sleeve shirt.

Most times it depends on the school. when i went to school there was tons of kids with tatoos, but then my friend who lived in the next town over got a tatoo and she was told she had to keep it covered up. I don't think they can kick you out for a tatoo though. Do what you want.

I had a tattoo when I was in highschool. why would it be a problem? there is nothing they can say or do about it. you just go to school there. they dont own you or make your decisions for you.

It could be, depends on your school. Why don't you wait until school is out? It's only 4 extra months.
Good luck with the tat!!

why not. i had my first tat at 16. i doubt anything can really be said because you are over18 and its your right. but hey if they ask to cover it then whatever deal with it, you have your whole life to sit here and show it off.

one thing i do want to say is be careful where you want to get it. depending on what you want to do alot of places as you get older will tell you to cover it up.

i doubt it. i went to high school in louisiana and i knew quite a few people with (home made) tattoos that were completely visible. they may ask you to cover it up but they can't expel you for it unless it was offensive or something.

you should look at your schools code of conduct, but i am sure if it is not offensive, which it isnt, why would they oppose it. Just dont let it distract alot of people I bet they wouldnt like that
