You are most likely using too much conditioner in the wrong places on your hair. The ends are dry, and most likely need a trim to make them a little healthier. Also your hair can dry out and break from over processing (dyeing/ streaks) blow drying and straigtening. Instead of using a lot of conditioner where you don't need it...on your scalp and roots, try a leave in conditioner that you can spritz on the ends where you need it most. There are several good brands on the market, but ask a hairdresser for the one she would recommend.

Kerestase do a product called duel action, which was for oily roots but dry ends...I'm not sure if they have changed the name but if you go into a professional salon that sells Kerestase they will tell you.If Kerastase do not sell dual action anymore then another professional product will.it's not gonna be cheap but i can say that if it is a real problem to you,it's worth spending that little bit more...PS. a professional product will last you twice as long as shop shampoo coz it is concentrated,so less water. So you may save money as well as solve the problem.Good luck.
