I don't. The service they provide is delivering stuff, and they are being paid for it.

It is not like a pizza delivery service where you are paying for the product, pizza, then you tip on the service, delivery.

You have bought the product which is delivery, there is no extra service. I hope that makes sense.

No tip is required or expected for FedEx or UPS deliveries. However, if you use such a service regularly, and if you see the same delivery person each time, you might consider a small gratuity at the end of the year, along with a thank-you note.

if it's a consistent delivery person and you use the service a lot, tip once a year (holiday time's the usual) same way you would the postman or garbage man. if it's a one-time deal, not necessary. they're paid by the hour and tips aren't considered part of there salary like the pizza or chinese-food delivery guy

Since they're minimum wage, it's welcome. Especially if the delivery is extremely important or urgent, a $5 note would be fine for thanking. Also, when it's a special occasion gift as in from someone "special", a box of chocolates etc. share your happiness with the person who braved bad weather to make this timely delivery.

No. Those guys are all union. They get well-paid enough without any help. Tip pizza delivery people -- they're working for BELOW minimum and need those tips.

No. I do not. I ahve only seen the delievery guy like three times in my life. He has usually leavs packages on the door. Now when I order a lot over the holidays I usually leave him a gift basket on the front porch because he is always at my house.

No. They are well paid professionals.
You may be thinking of something from the dark ages of communications: the Western Union man. He would deliver telegrams. He got tipped.

No, you shouldn't tip the UPS or FEDEX delivery person.

I actually think their company has policies against it.

Yes, if I'm in. I once had a delivery from FedEx
and my wife shouted FedSex is here!
I leave about $10.00 and leave
UPS in the UK £5.00.
Because they are
minimum wage
they much do
like it!
