Hmmm, that seems to young for me. I plan on being financially stable first before I actually settle down with my sweetheart(I'm 19, by the way). I mean, if we have kids, I want to be able to support them and still be able to pay the bills, you know what I'm saying?

I wouldn't say its too young if you found someone you had someone you wanted to marry. But the fact is that you dont have a partner and you dont know what kind of person you will end up with. But i would say marriage is whenever you are ready you know your situation the person your marrying and what it involves.

My mum married at 18 and she's the happiest person that i know! (My parents have been married for over 25 years now) so for people saying your too young to marry its just when you feel the time is right and the person you are marrying is the right guy for u!

Well,actually...years ago in the early 1900,many married at tender young age 17-22 for girls and even boys. But now,the world is different and ever-changing.To be married this early...and hey you're still schooling aren't you?....sounds a lil crazy.I'm 17 and I feel I'm ready for marriage but who knows, along the road,I have other plans and marriage happens to be in my way.It would be disastrous! Like in the oldern days, you can't divorce or else you'll be outcasted from society. So many despite having a lot of marital problems tolerate till their death beds.Times have change now. You've gotta think about a lot of factors especially financially and morally. You're still young. You can find potential husbands but don't go straight into it before giving it a lot of thoughts.Good luck!

Yes too young... still plenty of boyfriends to date before you find a husband. I'd say settle down around 26 or 27 and children if you like after that. That's a better age to marry.

Yes far too young especially as you haven`t anyone in mind, you would need to be with someone for a couple of years at least before even considering marriage. Enjoy your life while you`re still young enough to do so. x

It depends. I personally think it is too young. Your 18, have fun. When I do get married I'm planning to be about 24-25. Thats just my opinion.

i reckon you should wait untill you find someone, dont go looking. Dont rush into marriage once you have found somebody cos u -think- ur ready. I think you want a steady guy and safety, but that can come without marriage.
