Well knowing Jesus is a great way to make yourself feel whole again. You feel worthless because you need meaning in your life. You should start out reading the bible. That way it is at your own pace and you can focus on scriptures that help you. There is an index in some that kind of highlight different areas of the Bible so that you can read on something that is bothering you. I found Jesus just a couple of months ago and I pray every night before bed. Try Philippians 4-8. Read it every day when you wake up and every night before bed ok. It really uplifts your insides. Good Luck for you. Having faith gives you a really good feeling inside and I hope you find it.

We are all created in His image. And we were put on this earth to glorify Him. Don't listen to the people who have chosen to ignore the gift He gave us by dying on the cross for our sins. God gave us the choice to honor Him or not, so that for those who do, it will have meaning. He didn't fill the world with robots programmed to serve Him.
You are not worthless! God don't make no junk. And the Bible has guidance for every single thing you encounter in your life. You just have to be open to His guidance to recognize it.
God loves you. Jesus loves you. You have tremendous value to Him. He wants your heart.
Here are some Bible verses to ponder:
"for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." Romans 3:23
"For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life." John 3:16
I'm just an average guy. But I've been a Christian nearly all my life, and can tell you that a life lived for God is a blessed one, one that the world just doesn't get, though the door is open to anyone that wants to receive that blessing.
If you'd like to hear more, I think there is an option to contact me through my profile... (I'm a newbie).
God bless you--Curtis

Surrender your life to Jesus and ask Him to fill you with the Holy Spirit and the Holy Spirit will teach you all things. You will receive hope in Jesus. We were all pretty worthless until we came to Jesus at the Cross. Even the Bible tells us that without God we are nothing. Nothing is better than receiving hope and love from Christ Jesus.

First of all let me tell you about "feelings."
Feelings are unreliable because they are subjective, easy to produce, and are not meant to discover facts but to tell us how we feel about facts. Psychological persuasion techniques, intensity, eye contact, or mere desire can produce feelings that feel real - because they are real! But real feelings are still just letting us know how we are reacting to something, not the truthfulness of that thing.
Now let me tell you the facts.
The hunger that you feel is a spiritual hunger, and can only be filled by Jesus. Jesus is the only one who can lift the darkness. Jesus is the gate to a satisfying life. Jesus is the friend and shepherd that you have been looking for. Jesus is the life - in this world and the next. Jesus is the way of salvation!
The reason you feel hungry, the reason you seem to be lost in darkness, the reason you can't find meaning in life, is that you are separated from God. The Bible tells us that we have all sinned, and are therefore separated from God (Ecclesiastes 7:20; Romans 3:23). The void you feel in your heart is God missing from your life. We were created to have a relationship with God. Because of our sin, we are separated from that relationship. Even worse, our sin will cause us to be separated from God for all of eternity, this life and the next (Romans 6:23; John 3:36).
How can this problem be solved? Jesus is the way! Jesus took our sin upon Himself (2 Corinthians 5:21). Jesus died in our place (Romans 5:8), taking the punishment that we deserve. Three days later, Jesus rose from the dead, proving His victory over sin and death (Romans 6:4-5). Why did He do it? Jesus answered that question Himself, "Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends" (John 15:13). Jesus died so that we could live. If we place our faith in Jesus, trusting His death as the payment for our sins - all of our sins are forgiven and washed away. We will then have our spiritual hunger satisfied. The lights will be turned on. We will have access to a fulfilling life. We will know our true best friend and good shepherd. We will know that we will have life after we die - a resurrected life in heaven for eternity with Jesus!
"For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life" (John 3:16).

I'm not sure what your situation is but Jesus says what you have done unto the least of these you have done unto me. Mother Teresa said the more love she gave to other people the more she felt filled with love. Try doign something where you have the chance to help other people, I think this would get rid of your feeling of worthlessness.

First, you are not worthless. Second, pick a church and go to one of the scheduled services. You will be received warmly, and you can begin getting to know Jesus.
Last, you are not worthless.

Well, it is true that spiritually, we bring nothing to the table as it relates to godliness.
That being said, Jesus considered you of enough worth to die on a cross to pay the penalty for your sins. Even if you were the only one, He would've done that for you.
You can do nothing to merit Jesus' love and pardon. It is all about what He has done for you. If you try to earn either one, you will be rejected. It is a gift from God to the unworthy.
"There is no one righteous, not even one; there is no one who understands, no one who seeks God. All have turned away, they have together become worthless; there is no one who does good, not even one." "Their throats are open graves; their tongues practice deceit." "The poison of vipers is on their lips." "Their mouths are full of cursing and bitterness." "Their feet are swift to shed blood; ruin and misery mark their ways, and the way of peace they do not know." "There is no fear of God before their eyes." (Romans 3:10-18)
And
"For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith--and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God--not by works, so that no one can boast." (Ephesians 2:8-9)

We are worthless dear friend, it is only through Jesus Christ that we are made worthy..
We have to accept that we are sinners and cannot save ourself. That works won't save us, no matter how good or great they are.. Only our faith in the Lord Jesus Christ..
