I prefer the morning, after a light breakfast and before lunch. It gives me energy for the day. I dont like working out after dinner because I feel heavy and sluggish and its hard to sleep. The afternoons are too busy at my gym and I cant use any equipment.

both of those are good. in the morning before you eat your are burning fat so that a great time to exercise. in the evening is good also because then you are helping your digestion and using the calories you ate for the day. Some people do both. or they do a hardcore workout in the morning, and a brisk walk after dinner. A brisk walk after greasy or fatty meals also helps your heart pump easier.

the best time depends on your body. If you are a morning person its best to exercise then. On the other hand, if you are more a night person then that would be the best time. Usually mornings are probably best cause you get it out of the way and dont have anything to interfere with your exercise time. Sometimes it works also if you have time to break up your exercise and do it both morning and night if you have time.

No! There is no best time! The main thing is that you don't do it after you eat! Could you imagine having something great to eat, only to find out that you threw up because you exercised. This would not only be an unpleasant expierence, but by not knowing the reason, it might also turn you off to exercise. Never exercise after eating!

People are good about promoting myths about diet and exercise without having a good understanding of how the body works.
The best time to exercise is a time where you will consistently do it for the long-term. Adherence to exercise is by far one of the biggest struggles for most.
But if you still have people telling you that you need to workout in the morning on an empty stomach, be armed with the points in this article:

doin cardio in the morning will let you loose more calories in your body as oppose to what you have eaten that day.
exercises is best done when you are fully awake so if you wake at 6am and go to bed at 9pm then the best time would be around 12-3pm
avoid after food, this will only make exercising harder unless it is a small meal.
exerciseing before bed will make it harder to make you fall asleep

Early morning (before the rush hour) and afternoon (after the rush hour, just before it gets dark).
This is to avoid the intense heat of miday (well, here where i live we get like 120 F on a normal day X.X) and the high levels of pollution produced by cars in the rush hours.

its good in the morning cuz it gets ur metabolism going throughout the day....its good for the evening becase u burn some of the calories u just ate from dinner...and afterwards when ur done, ur body is STILL burning calories cuz now its metabolim is going so u would burn off all of the calories u ate. but there would be no need for that if u ate breakfast in the moring and excercised thruought the day cuz that keeps ur metabolism up liek being active throughout the day and excercising and snacking on healthy things....

About 20 or 30 minutes after you eat is the best time, if your body can handle it. This helps to boost your metabolism and burn more calories.

AM is good because it puts you in a positive mood to face the rest of your day by boosting your seretonin levels. Evening is good if you can't do AM because it puts you in a more relaxed and good mood to help you sleep better and more restfully. Whatever works best with your schedule will give you positive benefits.
