I would like to put my daughter in a non-conventional pre-K, Kindergarten etc. Anyone know of any in Miami,Fl. She is 3 years old and loves the planets, she prefers reptiles instead of dolls (not that playing with dolls is a bad thing) I read 3 books every evening to her without fail and I am teaching her how to read (not because I am rushing her, but she shows an interest in reading) Oh, and she loves Led Zepellin.......hehhee.

Call your elementary school, social service agencies, and churches and investigate the programs they tell you about. Any GOOD preschool will support your daughters unconventional interests because the current trend is toward supporting non-stereotypical interests and play. Check licensing, find out what the teachers' credentials are, ask what curriculum they are using and what the children's schedule is. Try to observe a class in progress. And once you have chosen a program, plan to volunteer some time in the classroom so you can see first hand what your daughter is experiencing. An involved parent is the best insurance toward a good educational experience for a child. Besides, you sound like a wonderful parent and any good preschool teacher would be delighted to have you spend a little volunteer time in her classroom!

I would research Montessori schools in your area. The Montessori philosophy of schooling is very child-directed. Your daughter would have freedom to choose activities she was interested and go at her own pace. Just be sure to check their credentials because the Montessori name is not trademarked and they could claim it without formal training.
