Maybe up to six or seven pounds, if it's your first week on a diet. You might think about trying this book called "The Movie Star Diet" by Steve Simmons. It helped me lose thirty pounds in 2 1/2 months when I didn't think anything would work. My goal to begin with was only 20 lbs! It has a really easy plan to follow and an excellent workout as well.

Well, you could lose from 1-2 pounds depending on how much you run to how much food you intake and you can keep it off for good. If you lost, say 5 pounds, it would be harder to keep it off. 1-2 pounds a week is healthy and you could really become more fit by losing a few pounds a week by working out and staying healthy.

a healthy way, is to consume 250 calories less and to burn 250 calories more.
you can fit this into your lifestyle by, say, biking your kids to and from school - that's about 300 calories burnt right there, and not eating that bowl of ice cream before bed - about 200 calories.
I personally CAN NOT do the "workout at the gym" thing ... I can't STAND it! It always baffles me how people DRIVE 15 minutes to and from the gym, instead of just biking there! Just bike to places you have to go, 'cause not only are burning calories, but you're helping the earth.
