A mere kiss is not cheating, but there are exclusivity issues in his mind.
There is a jealousy concern and this needs to be stopped now.

If you really liked your boyfriend you would not have cheated. Now you are wondering why he is acting weird, maybe because you cheated on him. You may have worked on it, but it is still fresh in his mind that you cheated on him. He is still working on it. Why did you do it? If he was making a more diligent effort on your relationship why would you even take that step with someone else. Do you really like this guy? If you do, then you must be patient with him and realize that the trust that was once there has been tainted and since you are the culprit you will just have to give him time.

What's going on now is that he doesn't trust you, so he can pretty much just hang out with you and know that he doesn't have to put any effort into the relationship.
Why waste effort when she'll probably be with someone else soon, anyway? is probably his thinking. He's probably also looking around now.
Tough lesson to learn, but the lesson is pretty straightforward: if you're loyal, you get loyalty in return. Otherwise, not.

Trust is a hard thing to rebuild. The fact that you owned up to it right away should have helped. He didn't hear from someone else. The delay in his reaction maybe that he's talking to friends about it, being influence by them and having questions. Just stay with it. Let him come around and trust you again. If you push he'll still have doubts and may run. If he doesn't then is he really the one YOU want to be with?

It all depends on how far you cheated. If you had sex with the boy then yeah he has a right to get somebody that would treat him better. But if it was just a kiss then he does have some right to be alittle strange. Talk to him and see what his feelings are and why he feels that way. If you do decide to stay together and you do love him that keep yourself for him and no one else.

You knew you did wrong because you contacted your boyfriend 10 mins after it happened. He now probably thinks whenever your not with him that your out kissing on some body.
You need to get his trust back, before he feels he needs to get back at you and cheat on you.
Will this relationship ever be the same ?

He doesn't trust you anymore, period. You cheated on him. How do you think he feels? You think he's really going to believe you when you say you're at the movies or with your friends? No, he's not. He's always going to doubt you. Cheating(as I said many times before) is the worst thing you can do...and now you know why.

you made a mistake and now he cant trust you. it is going to take a lot of time, dedication, loyalty and patients to get even close to what you had going on before you cheated. at least you told him right after but it shouldn't have happened in the first place. good luck.

I think you made him not trust you. He does but he don't. You understand, sit down and actually talk to him and ask him how it made him feel. And would you forgive him if he did the same thing? And how to change is not to rush it.
