Need a new radio in my 2001 Ford Escort.?

I have a 2001 Ford Escort and it came with a tape deck and radio. I want to put in a cd player...anyone know how to do that? I know I would have to get some other kind of attachments cause of the large face plate...dont know if you anyone understands..but if so please help.

You simply need the correct mounting kit for the 97+ Escort.

That should be all that's needed. Just follow the directions that come with the kit.
