There are several places in scripture where it is inferred that Jesus is indeed God. You can go there and look for it, however, the sense that He is the "Son" of God means that God through the Holy Spirit made it so that the second person of the Trinity became incarnate, thus the idea of the only begotten becoming flesh and dwelling amoung us. The preincarnate Christ existed as an eternal emanation of the Godhead Tripartite in purpose, will and being. The idea of Jesus as the Son of God is one way that God communicates to us in anthropomorphic language what we otherwise could not understand being finite creatures.

You certainly follow a good train of thought! More precisely, I feel Man, humans have created gods in their own image. To explain the unexplainable. This has been built upon, it has created an industry of religions. God is not human, nor a being. No being could create the universe. Solar systems, galaxies, etc. But to answer the question, where did this all start, Man has created a god.

God Speaks today to jnsr, read is beautiful:"

At the origin of your History was God. But the Eternal One had always been there, for He has no beginning and no end. He is Immensity, Infinity, not Created. In Him, His Only Son and His Holy Spirit were and are. It is the same God. It was through His Word that God spoke and it was His Son, who is in Him, who came down from His Father's side to become the Incarnated God. He was named JESUS Christ, YHShWH. Truly, God remains One by adding the Three Persons who is God the Eternal, the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.

Out of something real, do not make a Mystery. In this Bright Light which was God, were also the One Son and the Holy Spirit: One God in three Persons. All was Light, for all was in that Light before coming to the World. In this infinite Light was God.

THE FATHER says to you: I AM in this Eternal Light that covers all, that contains all, that includes all. The first occupants are those forming this God of Love who is Father, who is Son, who is Holy Spirit. God is One in Three Persons.

He will show Himself to Moses. He will speak to him.

He will inspire His Commandments to him, through His Holy Spirit.

But the Father and the Son send the Holy Spirit who always precedes Them. For the Holy Spirit who is Lord and gives Life, proceeds from the Father and the Son.

The Eternal Father contained in Himself His Three Holy Persons as well as the whole Universe with His complete Creation. When you speak of the NOTHINGNESS, understand that God is Everything and has Everything in Him. Nothingness exists when God withdraws.

My first "Delivery" was that of the Universe which was in God as well as everything else. All of My Creation had its hour of Glory: it knew its Creator who brought it forth. It came like every created thing, from the Bosom of its Creator.

All My Creation remembers and will remember Me
who Am Father and Mother at the same time.'

Jesus is the Son of God. But that would make it to simple for some wouldn't it? When I was a young boy this issue wasn't even an issue. Excepting Jesus as my Saviour. Repentance and the plain of Salvation were of greater concern then. Wonder who caused all the confusion?

HE IS THE LAMB OF GOD THAT TAKES AWAY THE SIN OF THE WORLD.

It depends on what religion you ask, but if you ask the Church then he is both. He is the Son on Earth, and part of the Holy trinity. If it was that easy to figure out would it really be God?
From the forum listed below...

"THE MYSTERY OF THE TRINITY

Christians believe in God the Trinity — Father, Son and Holy Spirit. The Trinity is not three gods, but one God in three Hypostases, in three personal beings. "
and... " ‘Listen, O philosopher, God is one, the Creator of heaven and earth, Who has created all things through the power of the Son and the operation of the Holy Spirit. This Son of God became incarnate, lived among people, died for us and rose again. Do not labour in vain to seek evidence for that which is comprehended by faith alone, but answer me: do you believe in the Son of God?’ Struck by these words, the philosopher could only say, ‘I do’. The shepherd said: ‘If you believe, then let us go to the church and there I will bring you into communion with this true faith’. The philosopher immediately stood up and went with the shepherd. On his way out, he said to those present: ‘When people tried to convince me with words, I countered words with words; but when a divine power came forth from the mouth of this old man, then words were no match for this power, as man cannot contend against God’."

If you are really interesed this would be a good thread for yout o follow...

Jesus is the embodiment of God on Earth. Part of the Holy Trinity - The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit

As a human, Jesus was finite in bodily form, but because He was pure He was simultaneously - Eternal. His purity came from the fact that He was God. He was God's Son because He was Human while on Earth and God in Heaven.

Together, we all are the Holy Spirit which includes Angel's, God, Jesus, and our "souls". We are the human representations of the Holy Spirit on Earth. Because we are in the flesh (Sons of Man), we have a propensity to sin (violate God's laws). Our violations, absent repentance and abstinence from future violations, determines our personal salvation. That is, until we accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior. Once done -truly done - our sins are washed away in the Blood He shed for us when He died on the Cross. From that moment on, we are Forgiven, we are Sons of God, we are Saved.

Satan has used this to divide the churches. Pray and ask the Father to reveal Jesus Christ his son to you.

Jesus Christ is the Son of God, born to a virgin woman, conceived by the Holy Ghost.

Matthew 16:16 And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God.

Luke 1:35 And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and thee power of the Highest shall over shadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.

Matthew 1:20&21 .....fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost. And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.

Matthew 1:23 Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.

Isaiah 9:6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

Amen to don s, we must accept Jesus Christ and repent of our sins. This is the beginning of understanding.

Praise the Lord Jesus Christ.

All you need to know is that Jesus is the Only Begotten Son of the Living God. When you confess Jesus christ as your Lord, that He shed His blood for remission of your sin & believe in your heart He raised from the dead for your justification, then you will be saved.

Also, Jesus did all this in His humanity as a man anointed by the Holy Ghost.

When you are born again, of His Spirit, cleansed by His blood, joint heirs with King Jesus, part of the family of God; Then you can pray to your Heavenly Father in Jesus Name in Spirit & Truth & ask God personally. And God reveals who God Is. This is a promise. In the beginning, all you really need to know is the Name 'Jesus'. The Kingdom of God is listening. And Jesus will hear your call.

The scriptures can be confusing on this issue, so it helps a great deal to recognize the words of living prophets of God who are once again on the earth. They can help tremendously with questions like this and in understanding the purpose of earth life.

There are 3 separate beings that make up the Godhead or grand council.

There is one God who is in charge from our perspective, who is commonly referred to as Heavenly Father. He is the father of our spirits.

His only begotten son, according to the flesh, is Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ is a member of the Godhead and one in purpose with Heavenly Father. Heavenly Father for most practical purposes has delegated authority to Christ -- for example Christ is Jehovah or the God of the Old Testament prior to his mortal birth.

The Holy Ghost is a personage of spirit who is also a member of the Godhead. His mission is to testify of truth.
