I've had acne since 8th grade and I'm a junior in college now and I still have it. A month ago, it got to a point where I had a serious breakout.Really serious that my face got covered with little zits all over- not the huge zits but little ones and my face looked so ugly. I went to the dermatologist and he suggested 5% Benzoyl peroxide cream. I thought it probably wasn't going to work because I have tried everything on the planet except for accutane pills. But then while I was researching online, I found this website and it was all about benzoyl peroxide. Went through the page and started using benzoyl peroxide as suggested by the webpage. My face has never been this smooth!! You should try it. It's a very cheap and simple method. After a few days of dryness, your skin gets used to it and soon on, it feels like a normal skin cream. And you get Fabulous skin! I hope you solve your problem! :D

Accutane works really well. Your skin and lips will dry out a little bit but just keep it moisturized and you will be fine. It takes about six months for you to see real lasting results, but it is worth it. Plus your acne stays away!

Talk to your dermatologist. Your insurance will most likely cover the generic brand or sometimes even the actual brand making it very cheap. I wasted my money on tons of acne medicines and nothing worked. It is just better to do this so that you dont shell out tons of money on things that arent going to work. There is quite a bit of paperwork but dermatologists are very helpful in completing and helping you with it due to the fact most realize it is completly worthless to do!

Good luck and I hope all goes well...

There is a homeopathic recipe that is used to help with acne, it may be something you want to try before using anymore medicines. Try this: 1 oz. chamomile tea
1 oz. dandelion leaves
and 2/3 oz of fennel.

Use one tablespoon of this mixture per cup of water. Steep the tea for 5-10 mins then strain. Try 1-2 cups per day. Please be careful though. If you have allergies to ragweed or other members of the daisy family. You may not want to try this. If not, try the "natural" way first. This tea helps to stimulate metabolic activity, which helps to promote the healing of inflammatory skin conditions, such as acne.

Accutane works really well. It drys your skin out, but if you keep it moisturized, then you will be fine. It takes about six months for you to see real lasting results, but it is worth it.

There is a lot of paper work and test that you have to take online to get it, because it causes severe birth defects. It can be expensive, but I think a months worth may be about 12 dollars if you get the generic brand.

Roaccutane. i swear best stuff ever. worth all the side effects. seems a bit harsh, but like you nothing seemed to work for me.cleared it all up.

it is more expensive that the over the counter stuff, but you only have to take one course and thats it...gone.thought you do need to see a dermatolagist to prescribe it for you.
