I highly doubt it, since children everywhere are reminded of World War II, Hitler, and The Holocaust every year. I just finished teaching it to my 8th graders, and they were so distraught over the whole episode. Unless we ban it from the school curriculum, then the stigma will never cease, since the history is taught and then ingrained in our children's minds at such a young age. As an adult I was very surprised at how many kids never even heard of the Holocaust and what really happened during World War II. They heard of the Nazi's and Hitler, but they didn't know what they stood for. Once it was taught to them, then they understood and really looked at Europe in a different light. I had to remind them that that was the past, and we always learn from our mistakes. We learn this so it's never repeated, and we try to prevent it from happening or escalating.

Too many people and organizations profit by bringing up Germany's Nazi past. Israel and various Jewish organizations get loads of cash by dredging up Hitler's ghost.
Leftist organizations use the guilt of the Nazis too bring in followers and cash donations.
Israel uses it to justify oppressing the Palestinians. They never miss a chance to equate Hammas and the PLO as the new Nazis bent on the Jews extermination.
Hitler is good business countless books, movies, plays, and even comic books keep Hitler alive and well. According to one book dealer the two top selling book categories are books on cats and books on Hitler.
Until the Hitler and Holocaust industry runs out of steam (not very likely) Germans of the post World War 2 generation and beyond will carry the millstone of Adolf Hitler.

Well, Germany is has one of the largest world economies and is a major player in the EU. So I'd say, as a world, they have been pretty much forgiven.
But I think the stigma will be there for awhile. Over the decedes, it will fade. However, I think their dark past should always be remembered. But to bash the Germans, but to remind the world of what evil can happen.

Few Germans today have any Nazi leanings. Most Germans during WW2 weren't Nazis, even the German armed forces.. Many "members" of the Nazi party were members in name only.
The Holocaust was a terrible thing, but not nearly as extensive as Stalin's murders of his own people. The Jews, who did suffer terribly in the Holocaust but who weren't the only ones killed, will be talking about it forever, because their religion is largely one of tradition (the song "Tradition" from Fiddler on the Roof says a lot). They're still making much of their exodus from Egypt.

Yes, that's a pretty sure bet, given Iran's activities.
If Iran nukes Israel, Germany's activities will be forgotten.
If Iran's disinformation succeeds, Israel will be painted as the new Nazis, and Germany's activities will be forgotten.
If Iran is stopped because the world recognizes what they're up to, Germany's activities will be forgotten.
Germany can't lose, unless Iran's leadership suddenly starts to behave rationally. So Germany can't lose.

Nope. They stood and supported Hitler. And could smell the stench of the burning bodies at the Death Camps. Now that the SS troops are old, they justify their actions by saying they "had" to do it.
