hi. i am working on a college report on the united kingdom and i need to know the imports and exports of the U.K. and PLEASE DO NOT ANSWER TELLING ME TO GOOGLE IT as i have already tried this so anyone who knows the IMPORTS OF THE U.K.? please answer (imports needed more than exports) all i have found so far is oil but i need more...

Electronic goods (tv, computers, mp3 players, etc)
Food stuff (beef, lamb, fruit)
Fuel (Petrol, coal, gas, electricity from France)

Principal British exports include machinery, automobiles and other transport equipment, electrical and electronic equipment (including computers), chemicals, and oil. Services, particularly financial services, are another major export and contribute positively to Britain's trade balance.

Coal - our industry went back in the 70's mainly for power stations
Fruit, tea, coffee, sugar - I do not think we grow these items to the extent of the usage so we must have to import them.
