People are thinking that Hinduism is a Religion. In fact it was a time before the religions were born. There is a difference between the managing committee and working committee. Managing committee does not work, but make research and advice and guide. When the Aryans came, they saw the Hindus beyond the River Hind, and the land was called as 'Hindusthan' - the land of Hindus - the culture on the Sindhu basin. Hindu is consisting of several religions with several Gods and several life-styles, several beliefs but all under the Unity in diversity with diversity in Unity. Hindu has no religion, some formed religions and many hindus were converted - as if many members of a house joins different political parties and associations.

Some are trying to be Politically Correct; others say it is because they are 'tolerant' of everyone. There's a movement, in the world; to convince everyone that they can do no wrong.
Be careful of what you say it could be considered idolatry, defined as -- projecting YOUR opinion and beliefs onto G-d and making Him what YOU want Him to be. Instead of whom He actually is according to His Almighty Word.
There can only be One G-d who created and sustains all things. IF there were or are more than one, the entire universe would be dead; that includes this planet.
If there is no Almighty Being, who created all things; how do you explain the chemical elements which combined to form everything in the first place?
Do you really think it is possible for all the elements to "just be there" floating in empty space and "just happen" to know their perspective properties?
Gravity "just happens" to know how to function?
Our world and our moon "just happened to fall" into perfect position, in the universe where life could flourish?
Did you know that this planet is in a perfect position to study and learn about the rest of our universe? If the planet was even just slightly positioned differently, yes we might have telescopes; but they would be of no use to view the rest of the Milky Way, much less the other Galaxies / Universes around us. And people think still all of this "just happened".
Right, so one day many centuries ago, the elements we all learned about in chemistry; were floating aimlessly in empty space and happened upon others, THEN they all realized their perspective properties and 'searched' for those who(m) they are compatible with. Then 'decided' to form everything in all the Galaxies and Universes around this measly little planet we call Earth.
So, getting back to the original question; yes there can only be One G-d. Otherwise the 'gods/goddesses' would be in constant battle with each other to be in ultimate control and considered "the" all-powerful of 'gods/goddesses'. Do you really believe that each would 'work' together to enable functionality? Or would the 'thunder god' be in battle with 'sun god' over the weather patterns? Do you honestly think that each would stand by and watch while the other was "in control" at that moment?
If you still don't think this would be the case, just look at the world around you. IF we can't even get along with each other and coopertively share power over our perspective nations or resources; what in the world makes you think that a multitude of 'gods/goddeses' would fare any better?

Well not everyone follows your religion, not everyone follows their neighbors religion.
So yes all paths lead to a God, and each path views him differently. My path, i see a Goddess and a God, others see Mohomad( excuse the bad spelling) Others see Jehovah.
But They all mean basiclly the same thing. God, It comes down to the idea of a higher power.

Honestly, it's sound byte theology that doesn't hold up under scrutiny....it's like cotton candy. It might feel good to eat it, but it's not doing anything for you.
My path does not lead to the god of Abraham...that's the LAST place I'd want to go.
To make this claim, I'd have to declare that some 2 billion Abrahamicists are wrong about their god and this little Pagan who does not care to know said god is right....
Many roads, many paths, many destinations, and some of those destinations are better than others.

I do not know why anyone else says this, i say it because i believe it to be true.
If your bible works for you, i happy for that. But that does not mean that it works for me. I believe that there are several roads to the same destination, and while one way may work for me, others may choose to take a different path. As long as they get to the destination, why should i take it upon myself to judge them?

With my understanding we start as one, to go on a journey down many roads, which have many paths, with many gates, to end as one "wow what a Journey" : )

Because they haven't thought about it enough. Some people say that all roads lead to Rome, but all roads don't lead to Rome do they?

because... all paths lead to the same place, the end. Responsibility requires sacrifice, and patience requires discipline.

Firstly because those that say that don't believe in the bible. Secondly because those of us that say that believe that even if we worship many gods they are in fact only different faces of the same god or Spirit, if you will.
