By doing the altruistic thing instead of the egotistical thing. And what do you mean by professional? Isnt that a money making thing where you are making yourself feel good by getting a just recompension? And what is the just recompension for... you or the business?

I am in nursing school and the first semester they taught us about "client centered conversation." It was more challenging than I thought to have a relaxed conversation that was still focused on the patient. I practiced in phone conversations with family and friends and it defintely got easier with practice. I don't know that you are talking about conversations, but I think the principle still applies. Practice giving and it will get easier.

Do some volunteer work with underprivileged children. That'll open your eyes up to what giving really means.
