Was Jimmy Buffet a parrot in a former life?

He likes to fly, and hang out with sailors, and squawk and sing, and has a sense of humor, and then there his pub. co.: Parrothead Music... Well?

Neat question. I am 51 years old and went to the University of Miami. In the early 70's, Jimmy was playing at big parties in the area and I got to meet him several times and hung out with him. We were not best buds or anything, we knew each other on sight, that's about it. Keep in mind, this was before he was famous and he wouldn't know me now if he fell over me. The bottom line is that he likes to have FUN. (Capital letters for emphisis.) Many of his songs are based on his experiences like Jamica Mistaka. Now that he has big bucks, his toys are bigger and he can have more fun in more places. As far as Parrothead music, what's the difference between that and a Dead Head, or a Beatlemaniac, or the fan of any other band or artist? Buffet's concerts are fun. His music is light and easy to listen to. And, yea, I'm a Parrothead but I don't wear grass skirts and feathers. WAs he a parrot in a past life, who knows, and really who cares. He puts on a great show.

hmm....who knows Warren ought to purchase something he needs exceedingly lots, yet he seems slightly Too severe continuously....having THAT lots money would nicely be slightly demanding, you think of?!
