If they haven't had vaccinations yet, you will want to limit their activities outside to areas where you know there have not been any unvaccinated dogs. Parvovirvus is shed in the feces of infected dogs. If you have had infected dogs in the fenced area, do not allow the unvaccinated pups to be in that area. Parvo can "live" up to a year or so in the outside.
Also, dogs are pack animals. The transition from being with the litter to their new house is pretty intimidating for them--especially at 8 weeks. They will want to be with their "human pack."

Keep them inside until they have their shots. They are a little on the young side to be outside alone for long periods of time. Also make sure that the fence is deep enough into the ground so that when the puppies get older they can't dig holes under the fence and get out.

It's not as though 8 week old puppies have absolutely no protections from disease. If that were the case, they'd have to live in a bubble before their first shots.
If the fenced area is clean, and not visited by other animals, your pups will be fine. Just make sure they aren't exposed to the outside elements for too long at a time.
Good luck.

If its just them together then I wouldnt worry about them getting a disease.. I wouldnt let them roam free without rabies and whatnot, but for a week in a fenced in area, they should be okay. Ive had my husky outside since a very young age, before she had shots.. and she's 15 years old so.

Puppies need their Parvo and Distemper shots before you expose them to the world. Talk to the Vet about timing, but your pups will not have full immunity until after their third shots.
One reason that the shot schedule is important is socialization. After you get initial shots, you want to socialize the pups with as many people as possible. Even Police attack dogs are socialized this way, so that they are under control around friendly people.
Then, before the end of the third month, you'd like to socialize the pups with friendly puppies and dogs. This will greatly reduce unpredictable aggression...

I would not let them out if there is ANY possibility they will come on contact with other animals. They may not be able to escape, but can other animals get close enough to spread to germs? Parvo and Distemper, among others, can and does kill! Keep in mind that once they have their first shot, it takes about a week for it take effect.

If they've had NO vaccines I would not let them stay outside. Viruses like parvo which is usually fatal, can actually live in your yard for months or years. They would be susceptible to other diseases, once vaccinate you could put them outside, but make sure you give them plenty of exercise, the breed needs it. I'm sure you know! Good Luck

Do not let them outside until they have all their shots. Parvo is prevelent and could kill them. Even though you have a fenced area I wouldn't take the chance.

Keep them inside until they have had their vaccinations. Parvo can be present for a very long time in the yard. And all it would take would be for another animal to get into the yard and go potty. So on the safe side, keep them in!
