Judaism, Christianity, and Islam: all religions that just keep giving. Giving violence, hysterical logic, and hostility. The judgemental and unaccepting qualities of these religions make me wonder why far eastern, African, or some other religions don't appeal to people who don't believe in Santa. The people aren't bad, but the religions sicken me.

Self Righteous -- you are properly named. What makes you think I share your point of view? Islam is no better than nor worse than Christianity or Judaism. I'm not frustrated by any of these religions. I'm disgusted by them. I honestly don't know what you are on about. Is it the terrorists? Christians shoot doctors and blow up clinics. How's that any less of a problem than Islamic terrorism?

auntb93 -- I have heard that "well, they're not the real Christians. WE are the real Christians" type of argument before. Mis-use of the religion by whom? Adherents to the religion. No religion, no mis-use. "God lives in the desert" is a blanket statement to say simply that all 3 of these religions come from there, and if I ever became religious, I would NOT be a Jew or a Muslim or a Christian. I'm too civilized.

Strange place to choose to live among the camels and caves full of raggy old women and letter box girls!

Your details don't seem to have anything to do with your banner question.

If you mean that people believe God lives in the desert more than elsewhere, perhaps it is because they figure he lives where there are very few people. Me? I figure if there is a single god, a monotheistic God, then he lives everywhere.

Also, people who cross the desert under adverse conditions (not enough water, sand storms, that kind of thing) can often get into extreme physical conditions where hallucinations occur. So they emerge from the desert believing they have seen God. Or perhaps that it was only by God's grace that they survived the harsh conditions.

As to your comments about "religions sicken me," I can understand if you do not believe. But what I think you are really saying is that it sickens you what awful things people do in the name of their religion. But that's not the religion itself, but their mis-use of it.

Im with you but why dont you have the courage to point out the real problem here...Islam.

I agree that all religion is the problem, but I fully recognize that I shall never live to see them all vanish, nor am I overly concerned about it. Islam is far and away the biggest problem facing the world...have the courage to admitt whats underneath your frustration.

EDIT: Well then you are 100% coward. I cant think of a dumber and more negligent comparison than yours. Almost all armed conflict worldwide is Islamic. Jihadist terror rages worldwide, and you compare that to a few abortion clinic bombings? Thats so irresponsible I wouldnt hesitate to make it criminal if I had the power...

I could not imagine how people are ignorant as they are when speaking to the God, the powerful spiritual being who created them. They have allowed themselves
to be tempted by the satan to go against God, yet they could afford destroyu and poisoned the minds of other believers of God ab out their ungodly attitude. They could not just be silent on their way of satanistic life.
