The Holy Spirit is the third person in the Trinity. The other two persons are God the Father and God the Son. The one true God manifested Himself as these three persons. Only Christians believe in the Holy Spirit because it is stated in their Holy Scripture called The Holy Bible.
I did not find in my dictionary what Shift is or Tian Chi or Buddha Nature. Ba, though, is defined in Egyptian Religion as “an aspect of the soul, represented as a human-headed bird.” (Random House Dictionary of the English Language) Ba, therefore is not the same as the Holy Spirit. Buddha Nature may not be either, if it means becoming like Buddha. Could you please explain what Shift, Tian Chi and Buddha Nature are?

I don't think it's the same thing.
The experience of the Holy Spirit biblically seems to feel like a 'rushing might wind'.
The Holy Spirit manifests itself in a very particular war that seems different for everyone, however. Most people are loud and speak in tongues, I had a very personal and quiet experience, but when it came upon me I was walking down the street at night after leaving a barbecue.
I admit that I know very little about Shift, Tain Chi, etc. but they sound like states of mind that come through meditation, the Holy Spirit is a gift from God that we have to open ourselves to receive and it can seem very fickle.

With Christianity there is the holy trinity, God the Father, God the Son, and the Holy Sprirt.. The Holy Spirit only works in Christians lives.

Couldn't be the same, because the Holy Spirit IS Jesus, meaning that the Holy Spirit dwells in Christian hearts.
By definition of the Trinity (Father, Son, & H.S.) a non-Christian religion would not share the same Holy Spirit. (yet.)

Different Orders of Spirits
FIRST ORDER — PURE SPIRITS
First Class — Pure Spirits
General Characteristics — The influence of matter, null; a superiority, both intellectual and moral, so absolute as to constitute what, in comparison with the spirits of all the other orders, may be termed perfection.
Spirits of this order have passed through every degree of the scale of progress and have freed themselves from all the impurities of materiality. Having attained the sum of perfection of which created beings are susceptible, they no longer have to undergo either trials or expiations. Being no longer subject to reincarnation in perishable bodies, they enter on the life of eternity in the immediate presence of God. They are in the enjoyment of a beatitude which is unalterable, because they are no longer subject to the wants and vicissitudes of material life; but this beatitude is not the monotonous idleness of perpetual contemplation. They are the messengers and ministers of God, the executors of His orders in the maintenance of universal harmony. They exercise a sovereign command over all spirits inferior to themselves, aid them in accomplishing the work of their purification, and assign to each of them a mission proportioned to the progress already made by them. To assist men in their distresses, to excite them to the love of good or to the expiation of the faults which keep them back on the road to the supreme felicity, are for them congenial occupations. They are sometimes spoken of as angels, archangels or seraphim. They can, when they choose to do so, enter into communication with men.
Holy Spirits or Spirits that are already holy do not belong to any one particular religion. They transcend all religious differences. There is only One God and one Truth. All religions lead to the same God.

The holy spirit works towards aiding the personality in developing itself to the point where it is able to recognize and voluntarily accept the superior guidance of higher and more sofisticated ideals. It is a spirit with holy ideal and not all humans understand this within themselves. In time even generations are taught not to recognize this internal ability. If you have it you know and all the rest are activities of enjoyable interests that help support these ideals.
