No Meg I don't. To my knowledge no Christians have ever hijacked planes full of innocent people and then flown them into buildings in the name of Christ killing thousands of innocents. You might be safer than you think on a plane loaded with Christians.

I've been on an airplane many times reading a Bible and no one has ever seemed frightened of me. I have a friend who was flying a few months after 9/11 when a small group of Moslems left their seats to go pray in the aisle. Apparently that caused a great deal of worry from the rest of the passengers.

Again Meg, no true Christian, nore muslim or jew will attack anyone...these religions (and many others) are all preaching peace and love, but unfortunately, there are freaks everywhere, as red dragon 2007 said -and I totally agree with what he posted- and these freaks are not actually part of these religions , they are in insain cultist-groups.
I do not belong to any religion, I simply believe in a superpower over us , we could call it god or whaterver....but I think that members of every religion should concentrate on what unites them, which is the love of god and the will to be good, and do not focus on what separates them (i.e. religious traditions....) only the rituals are trully different, so let's not focus on that...stop inciting to hatered Meg, I'm sorry but you are by pointing Muslims all the time, again, terrorist attacks are made by terrorist who pretend they are muslims, but they are not because this is absolutely not what the religion is preaching...it is the same with Irish catholic and protestants killing each-other in terrorist attacks, the persons who are doing these acts of terror are simply NOT christians, a christian is willing to spread love, and your profiles says that you are christian Meg...I understand you have been freshly converted, (congratulations by the way) so maybe you are still getting used to beeing a christian...hopefully we will soon see messages of love posted by you!

No,even militant Fundamentalist Christians don't blow up planes or do suicide/mass murder inspite of the OTexample and texts of Samson and massacres of innocents in the Torah and Joshua.
Jihadist Islamists can quote the Quran but only where they want to encourage violence and hatred and they are silent about the passages that condemn killing civilians and respecting Christian monks and clergy and getting along with the People of the Book.

once again no one answering the question, just getting defensive. You should paraphrase" do you worry about an attack by christians who will be quoting the bible and saying that God has inspired them to kill everyone"

so many on this question mention criminals with christian back grounds. One mentions James Kopp the one who killed the abortion doctor in buffalo, others mention the IRA ,and another timothy mcveigh.

my answer mcveigh didnt do it for God, the various criminals including the one who blew up a plane for the insurance money didnt do it for God and couldnt justify in the scriptures anyways, the Ira didnt export the terrorrism around the world and didnt want to extend catholicm outside their own country. which leaves us with James Kopp who did kill for God, but he was alone, condemned millions of fellow christians, and he languishes in prison without friends or admireres taking hostages to try and get him released.

But muslims have explicit justification for their murders in the quran and sunnah like surah 9:5, 5:51,8:12, 9:29, 8:39, 33:56-60 (bukhari Volume 4 in particular, al tabari, muslim and ishaq)

The oldtestament has what appears to be justification for murders but those texts speak to speciific people in time and are not general exhortations to kill unbelievers but those who appear to be oppressing the jews. Plus today we dont fear christians or jews randomly attacking mass public transportation to kill civilians because quite plainly the bible condemns such thing andno where encourages it unlike the quran.

I suppose that was the purpose of this question: to highlight these distinct differences.

Actually when I go to the airport, and I do enough as I travel for my job, I do not think I'm going to be attacked by anyone. If you live in fear you aren't living.

Yes, I work at the airport and Christians verbally attack me all the time (I'm Muslim) besides that honey, you should know about all the Christians that get stopped, arrested, or have their things confiscated EVERY DAY by the airport police and the TSA. (I've seen it first hand!)

EDIT: By the way--TONS OF MUSLIMS work here--not just the cabbies either!!!!!!! :P deal with it! The Christians here are also the ones that get drunk and have to be carted off by the police every day.

Yes, even as a Christian I worry that I will sit next to a person on the plane and have to listen to some "evangelizing" that is poorly done.
I know I am not to sit in judgement of fellow Christians, but what I've most often heard is so unfortunately proud, theologically unsound and ultimately self-serving, I can only pray for that person.

No, but Timothy McVeigh was a memeber of a fundamentalist Christain group... so we Christians have our fair share of loose screws too.

No, and I do not worry about an attack by Muslims, either.

On the other hand, people who work at abortion clinics probably do worry there will be an attack by Christians
