What are we out there to prove that our Religion is greater than yours.....that our God(s) are far superior than Gods/Goddesses of other religions...
Its gets to a point where it gets utter rudiculous...
Do people following other religion have body parts which separates people as We & Them???
Its high-time we stop this hate policy that we have on other religions & start leading a life of a pure human-being....Simple & Pious.......Let PEACE be the guiding factor in our policy & not religious bias else The End is Near...............

Since when was religious beliefs the cause of a fight? Never... the reason we are violent is due to a complex relationship where civilization demands repression of instinctual activities which until we learn better, find their way back out on the battlefield. Be it whatever, reason as it may, call it what you like, it is still a factor of repressed instincts bouncing back, all distorted and unidentifiable hiding behind the mask of some cause or other.

I must agree with JORGE N. Evil people get into powerful positions in religious institutions. This does not make religions evil; it just means that evil men (and women) will always find a way to incite terrible atrocities against other people. The fact that most religions teach love and peace proves my point. If religions were all destroyed then evil men would just find something else to hide behind and ultimately we would all be worse off.

only existentialists dont fight over these matters. The truth is that everyone has become so strongly opinionated about what they belive is right, that they forget to try and consider taking into account the beliefs of others. And because of this, they miss seeing the bigger picture, that despite it has different ways of depicting a message, in the end, the message is the same in every religion.

It comes down to how each group worships god, that is where the issues come into play. Yes all the major religions believe in god but each one has a different way in how its followers are to worship him. And this in turn is the source of most conflicts between the major religions including the denominations that are within each of them.

We fight over Land> resources> export> economy> money! we fight over those things in the name of religion because religion helps justify those things.....
Government is run by business people industry men, they can't care less which religion some country is.........
Its the government's job to spread the propaganda about a religion so other people of different religions start hating that religion so much that they start thinking of those people as less then humans. they don't even think about killing them, they don't feel, all emotions go away at there sight...
We are but our governments pawns!
