That museum is what rational people would avoid. I have heard this stuff before, carbon dating is false and the Bible is literal. Which any sane person would ignore the 6000 year age of earth. The bible is a good book when it comes to moral lessons and history of the Hebrew people, But the week of creation is not in human time. What is time to a being that is as ageless as the Hebrew god? This museum was fonded by redneck inbreeds that can't except the bible for what it is, simply a guide book to a moral existence.

The dinosaurs became extinct several MILLIONS of years ago. If the world was (allegedly) created 6,000 years ago or even 100 times before, or any time in between but for arguments sake say 6,000 years ago then we have a quandry here, scientific "proof" vs the "bible". We would have a problem even if the earth was 600,000 years old.
Both are truths to those who follow either path. Perhaps we ought to ask a "Christian Scientist" but more psyco babble would follow I guess.
It is thought the Earth & Solar System was created (the "big bang" theory) about six BILLION years ago. If you will kindly take this route and imagine the earth as a human being aged 100 years, the earth was barren for the first 90 years, no life on it at all, then about 5 years ago the atmosphere cooled & the seas & earth begun to move about & settle, the flora & fauna appeared, the dinosaurs roamed the face of the earth for four & half years.
Homo Sapiens arrived a year ago, taking over from the Neanderthals when they died out, infesting the planet with our destructive ways & if we dont change our "diet" we can expect this 100 year old man to die within the next day or two.
And by the way, not all dinosaurs died off, "Noah" did indeed take dinosaurs on his "Ark".... the crow he let out to see if there was land did not return (because it was too busy feeding off the bodies), then the Dove he let out but it returned with an Olive twig, were dinosaurs, yes ALL birdlife on this planet evolved to fit in their various habitats, dont forget the cayman, the crodile, the alligator, they were around the same time as the big 'uns like T Rex. Oh yes, Noah did have dinosaurs in his ark, two of each species that inhabited the earth, pity he took so many human beings though, should have stuck to two & we would not now be nearly 5 billion using up all the resources, killing & poisoning each other!
The Sun is different matter, we expect the heat & light to continue for a further SIX BILLION years, so the earth may still be around but the face of the earth would be dramatically changed ..... possibly looking very much like Mars does now if we dont do something to stop chopping down the lungs of the earth (rain forests), stop using Carbon fuel (oil / coal) and begin to change our ways.
Noah will need to build a ship again within the next couple hundred years, but this time to MOVE off the Earth & onto another planet we can infest .......... sad innit?

Firstly the Bible does not state how old the earth or the universe is.
Through Bible chronology though we can say that man has been on the earth for about 6000 years.
The Bible does not give specific details regarding the dinosaurs.According to the Genesis account, animals were created during the fifth and sixth creative periods or 'days'.If the Hebrew expression translated "great sea monsters"[Hebrew, tanninim] includes dinosaurs, which often inhabited swampy, watery areas, this would mean that dinosaurs were created on the fifth 'day'(Gen.1:21).We do not know whether they continued to exist until man was created(toward the end of the sixth 'day').At the very latest it seems likely that they must have disappeared off the earth at the time of the flood of Noah's day.
One thing we can be sure of and that is,when the dinosaurs had fulfilled their purpose,God ended their life. But the bible is silent on how he did that or when.We can be sure that dinosaurs were created by Jehovah for a purpose, even if we do not fully understand that purpose at this time.

First, there was no Ark. It was only the invention and unexplained reason why a certain part of the earth was flooded in an area of 40 miles by 100 miles approximately.
There was a deluge, but not as large as the bible says; it was the meeting of the flooded Euphrates and Tigris meeting when both were flooded.
Another theory is that the land bridge that was between North Africa and Spain was breached and allowed the Atlantic to flood and fill the valley to become the Meditteranean as it is now; it would flood the land of Mesopatmia - where the Tigris and Euphrates rivers are, and so became the flood of the bible, enhanced by fools into a miracle, adding on that god did that to punish the wicked - absolute rubbish
Obviously, that was `the whole world` for whoever made up the story of the arK because they had never gone beyond those boundaries.
When thinking about it, he had to explain why all the animals and creepy crawlies, snakes, lizards, survived, so he made up the story that a god told Noah to get two of every kind in the world so they could multiply later when the waters receded.
Being totally ignorant and not very intelligent, people began to believe it, but consider how long it would take to travel over 12,000 or more miles to bring back elephants, lions, tigers, etc from Africa, kangaroos, koala bears etc from Australia, Polar bears and penguins from the arctic - need I go on? A ship the size of 100 QE2`s and food for all the animals, and water, and what about them killing and eating each other?
How could he do it? Oh! I know! God helped him? Rubbish.
To an intelligent thinker the whole story is nothing more than far-fetched and laughable.
Besides, dinosaurs had been extinct for millions of years previous to that; and the world is five and a half billion years old.
I think I would rather believe provable science than far-fetched fairy stories made up by simple-minded people who thought that just any old story would do as long as it included a god and the idiots of the world believed it.

There were no dinosaurs on the ark because the guy that wrote the story didn't know about dinosaurs.
Actually, though, how do you know there were no dinosaurs on the ark? The bible doesn't list the species included - it just says that all were included, so I guess that includes dinosaurs, if you want to be picky.
The story of Noah's Ark is just that - a story, designed to illustrate a point. It's a bit simple to assume that everything in the bible must be a historical account, when it clearly isn't, and then call it a "lie" - that is to misunderstand the point of it. You might just as well claim that "Pride and Prejudice" is a "lie".

I think this man if he said that Noah excluded them needs to look at creation again. There is no reason for Noah to exclude them. And if he had it would have been disobedient because God had instructed him and it was not up to Noah as it was Gods Ark . As history shows over the years there have been loads of sightings of large animals of the description and size which obviously are Dinosaurs. You just need to do homework to find them. They would have been on the Ark as eggs or young and only in Kinds as are the other animals. For example you would not have had every diverse type of horse, just the Horse. After the flood the temperatures changed and many species may have died out as would any animals. They also may have declined in stature. I don't understand why this man you quote did not know this. There are even theory's that God put them into hibernation and the explanations of why and how are plausible.
WOW WICCA RIDER IS OFF OF BIG BROTHER errrrrm is it Billy?
By the way Pagreen I always give you fantastic answers which even if you may not agree they are well informed off the top of my head and often witty. Give me the points!!!!! mwha ha ha ha

Doesn't science say that dinsouars have been extinct for millions of years? How could Noah put them on the ark if they were not around?
When Daniel was thrown into the pit of lions the Bible says that God shut the mouths of the lions. The construction and voyage of the ark was overseen by God so he certainly wouldn't put Noah and his family in any danger from vicious animals.
Noah preached for around 40 years before the Flood so it is quite possible that he could have had the animals from when they were young. This way they would be tame and comfortable in the company of humans and other animals.
Nowhere in the Bible does it even allude that the earth was created 6,000 years ago. You can work out that Man has been on the earth for just over 6,000 years.

God can create anything at any age, ( like Adam and Eve ) they did not start as babies nor did it take 20 years. So 6,000 years ago, God could have created the world at the stage or maturity age of millions or billions in just a few days. Dinosaurs and dragons are mentioned in the bible (Job) but not in the ark. Job was way older than Noah. If this is not satisfying,.....maybe the dinosaurs enjoyed the company of whales, since they are both too big for the ark.

What it shows is that the bible has been taken out of context it clearly shows how the bible looks incorrect, because its been written that way, for man to understand things. Can you think of how to explain to people thousands of years ago how the earth began, many of these people could not even read. The story of Noah again has been taken wrong it was Noah's world that was flooded, not the whole earth, trouble is people believe everything that was written, without using common sense, there is a lot of truth in the bible we know this because of history records, but man has filled in the bits he did not understand, and misinterpret the meanings, man is often to lazy to use his mind to use reason, and common sense

Before Adam and Eve sinned all the animals were tame. After they sinned they were thrown out of the garden and the animals were wild.
The Ark had no room for dinosaurs. And another thought is the dinosaurs were taking up land where people needed to be.
Jehovah is all wise and did not see fit to give us an explanation. So all we are doing is speculating. There are still dinosaurs alive. The whale, the crocodile, the hippopotamus. Also snakes and lizards lived in Adams day.
