Travelling to Toronto mid July,looking for a vey inexpensive place to lay my head!Hostels ok!In proximity to exciting venues or good restraunts,coffee shops!

All of Toronto is safe, you have to really go looking for trouble to find it. Stay somewhere between the university and the waterfront for most of the action.
