Devotion / love has no expectations. If at some time expectations are not complied, one gets irritated, his mind and intellect revolt and a bad wave of hatred spoils everything. Better no expectations. Love for love as one loves for himself and devotion for devotion as one remembers or calls his mother / father affectionately at any time.

The path of devotion is very difficult. Many people take Bhakti as lower form of worship....but really bhakti is a bed of thorns, not roses.

Shri Krishna tells Narad - hey narad whom i love, i snatch their wordly comforts, their nears and dears and their friends.... so that they wholly become mine.

So on the path of devotion, one should be ready to sacrifice everything... even the ego... Krishna ka prem koi saste mein nahin milta.

Aum. is right, if I understand correctly, you devote everything even your self. Of course you will also find your self. I read once that the greatest gift giving was when gift, giver, and receiver are the same. ~*~

I expect that i never lose my faith in my God n that i don't do any thing that would make me feel guilty when i pray. I would always want God to save me from all bad influences so that my heart is always pure in front of Him.
