Faith is trust. In situations where I follow the teachings of god instead of my own decisions, I am making a choice based on faith.
For example my own logic says that I should hate my enemies, but god said that I should love them.
The reasoning of my creator far exceeds my own. Occasionally I catch a glimpse of his understanding, yet in most cases decisions are based on trust.
"Trust in the Lord with all your heart;
do not depend on your own understanding.
Seek his will in all you do,
and he will show you which path to take."

Faith is blind hope. For some, it improves life. For others, it can end it. Nobody knows why we have been put on this earth. Or where we came from. So people cling to whatever gives them purpose. The thought of being alone in hte universe and having no meaning is scary. So, you get Christianity, Mormons, Ect, ect. There is no correct or wrong religion. But until you die, they are nothing but fairy tales, that are believed in only for somthing to live for. Faith? like I said. Blind hope. You will get no enlightening answer. But I can tell you this.. Faith is a beautiful thing, if used correctly. It can make or break somones life. Keep it in mind.

Faith is the belief when there is not any "hard" evidence to prove what you have put into your belief. The importance of faith is that without it I am lost and alone, yet with faith I have an inner strength that I alone could not create.
Peace be with you.

Faith in GOD is fundamentally accepting at the core of our beings that we have been created by something way beyond our imaginations and that something has absolute power over us ......... then we start to think about what that something is and accept His WILL over ours and seek the light to climb to the heavens.
Mankind is a creation of the ONE and the ONE Guides those that seek or turn to HIM. It is a process that takes time and you cannot just switch it on or off.

Words are totally inadequate to describe faith...it cannot effectively be discussed. Attempting to do so results in a contradiction, or a conflict of some type...this is the basic problem with languages, not with faith.

Faith is which is given by somebody to depend upon when you are in distress . So we have different faiths .Trust is required like a child trusts the mother .Trust is deeper than faith.

Faith is total TRUST on the person u have faith on. In spiritualism, it amounts to surrender to your GURU. For that you have to first intellectually satisfy yourself before making him your guru. Once done, there is no looking back. YOu just trust and leave everything to him who then takes care of your worldly and spiritual needs!
Its said-Faith can move mountains!

When you have faith in something, you come to believe that something even though there may be any amount of evidence against it. You cling to some sort of belief for a reason that has no proof because you truely have come to a belief that it is true.

Faith is believing in something, though you cannot see it with your eyes, smell it with your nose, hear it with your ears, or touch it with your skin. The importance is that we are on Earth as a test to see whether we will choose to follow the commands of Allah (God) or not to. If we could openly see the unseen (i.e. Allah, the Angels, etc.) then we would automatically believe and there would be no test. Allah (God) knows best!

Without faith, one can not see God.
Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. Heb 11:1
