Why are you asking when you know the answer? Give up now for the sake of your health. As soon as you do your chances of a longer, healthier life increase. It's been proven.
People who smoke look older, they have a smokers cough. They loose their sense of taste and smell. Tha health issues alone don't bare thinking about, and they smell. Not only breath smells, but clothes, house, and for a non smoker it's really offensive.
I know it's your life and you want to do what you want to do, but for a moments' pleasure ' you are willing to risk not only your health but other peoples. Is it worth it?
My parents smoked. My Dad died at 51 heart attack. He smoked 60+ a day. My Mum is 65 now, still smokes and she has so many health probs including Asthma and she will never learn!
As for myself I have never smoked, but as a passive smoker I used to become very ill with Bronchitis as a child. I was ill all the time!
I found out i'm Asthmatic and have been all my life due to my parents ' pleasure '. Doctors did not pic up on it till about 9 years ago, i'm 43 now.
Every time my husband comes home from the pub and the smoke is on his clothes I have an attack. Luckily he doen't go that often.
Every time my Mum sends a letter or present through the post I have an attack.
Can you tell i'm against it?
Please stop even if it just saves one life, YOURS.
Take care and get some help if you are struggling. The help is available just ask.
Throw the ones you have out you, The money you save could buy something special! Something you have always wanted. Think about it.

Smoke your 5 today then give up tomorrow, Monday is always a good time to start anything. I gave up smoking 6 years ago and have never looked back. I quit with acupuncture. I felt a bit unsure for the first 2 days, trying to convince myself i didn't really want to stop. Come Wednesday (day 3) I was quite happy and pleased with myself for not having any. Acupuncture made me feel really relaxed and not one bit stressed. The course of acupuncture lasted 6 weeks and at the end of it I couldn't believe how well I felt. Only down side was I have gained 56 lbs and i am still trying to lose it. My lungs are healthy though

you can either give up smoking gradually or at once but i heard there are side effects when quitting.

i presume one must quit smoking the right way.

i smoke for about 1 to 2 years and though it was a short period to some, the quitting is not easy.

you can try a packet of sugar-free sweets whenever you feel like smoking.

The anti smoking trust suggest that people tend to quit with better success if they don't set a date and just wake up one morning and decide not to have any more, you have to quit because you want to quit, best of luck and I wish you all of the success. I would advise leaving some cigarettes in the house cause if you don't you'll crave them even more

I quit cold turkey when I ended up in the hospital with heart problems. The best time to quit is NOW!!! Smoking WILL kill you eventually!!! The first week was tough, but not impossible. Do it for yourself, and those you love. When you think you want another, just think of the ones you love. Good Luck

Do it now, I would give the rest away or burn them.

Smoking ages you and the causes cancer as you know think of those who care for you and value you in their lives.

My sister went to see a hypnotist to give up smoking and it worked for her after years of trying to quit.

Also the national smoking ban starts today this is the best time to give up.

NOW.
Keep the 5 as nothing will make you panic more to think that you don't have any left. Put them somewhere difficult to get to such as the loft, so that you have to make a concious effort to get them, but it will give you time to think about what you are about to do.
Trash the 200.
REMEMBER: You are a long time dead.
