okay here is an update. the police won't do anything, report or otherwise. it is considered a civil claim. it is not criminal because there was no break-in.
ricky was detailing the exterior of the car at dealership. by the way, some very cleaver answers but this is no joke.
so if you had something removed and not put back in your vehicle, and you have details. how would you handle it.
somebody saw exactly , so it is just a matter of tttttttttiiiiiiiimmmmmeeee.

The police won't do anything because they don't have enough evidence that a crime was committed.
You can sue Ricky in small claims court, where the rules of evidence are less restrictive and you won't need to hire a lawyer.

If you already have his fingerprints, then the Police would have already found him and got him for you, unless for some reason you would not file charges against Ricky. But the DA can pick up the charge anyway, with or without your permission.

save the screen shot, go to McDonald's yourself (don't depend on the police for this) speak to the manager explaining the situation and ask for a copy of the tapes, if he won't give them, speak to his manager, and if not his, manager. If that does not resolve it get a lawyer to subpoena the tapes If you want this crime to be punished your going to have to be really persistent about it also you need to make a police report and stay on the police, ie follow up constantly if you have new evidence or have questions
