"Why are you so afraid of him? Is it the OT? We follow the NT except when it comes to homosexauls"
Reading that was like getting a hug from Jesus. Seriously, you've made my day.

Hey I have a question for you quickly. Again, this is a serious question, not being hateful or anything. So please don't get offended. Why is it that people, like yourself, say that. We can throw away the old testament, for all general purposes, yet we cling to those few passages, outdated by the time Christ arrived, to bash gays? I just don't get it. No where in the NT does JESUS say anything about homosexuality in ANY context. I know, being a gay Christian, I have done TONS of research. There are a few off the wall comments made by Peter (or was it Paul, too tired to care right now) but then to my way of thinking there were a lot of those. If we were to go by what he said and not Jesus, no one would be married. Rambling, sorry,
But if you could please answer my question it would be greatly appreciated.
As always,
God Bless

The bible does not say love ur neighbor, unless he is diffrent then u r because that oviesly means hes is less then human and undesserving of luv now does it?

It's too funny to see a reaction like yours. Why are you so afraid of Zeus? Why won't you just shut up and show some respect to Quetzacoatl? Anyway, people like you are the reason why Christianity is a failure when it comes to ethics and morals. Congratulations. You have almost surpassed The Apostle Paul in your ignorance.

First, may I point out that there is no such word as "athiests." You might want to consult a dictionary. That's a book that has words in it.
Second, atheists (note the spelling) are highly unlikely to fear something which they believe does not exist, nor to respect it.
Third, there is no such word as "homosexauls."
What you've displayed here is ignorance on a number of fronts.
You might want to think about shutting up yourself, so as not to reveal the depth of your imbecility.

Well, then "darling", you aren't a true Christian - because Christianity involves BOTH parts of the bible. If it didn't, all the books of the OT would have been weeded out by the Council of Nicea. Are you aware of what that was?
How about you try being the Christian you claim you are, and actually showin respect for your fellow man, even if you don't agree with them? Or is that too big a task?

How can satan be in our brains when there is NO satan.
I am not agnostic or atheist. But, I do not believe in a punishing god. period.
Also, no one needs to shut up, EVERYONE has the right to their own opinion, and their own beliefs.
BTW what is OT and NT ????

I am an atheist, and I don't shut up, because I practice my rights to free speech in this forum. I do not need to respect something that has not been proven to exist.
I am not afraid of something that has not been proven to exist.
It is always good to know which parts of the OT and NT you choose to follow and which parts you choose to ignore. Please tell me how you decide? Is there some magic bible decoder ring?

It is our duty, as civilized people, to attempt to bring wisdom to the ignorants in our midst, both for their benefit and the benefit of society as a whole. There is no need to show respect for a fiction, and indeed it would be silly to do so. It is not easy to teach, but we do get help from works such as:

O.k.,now I know what all the atheists are complaining about when they talk of harrassment by religious people. You sir,are entirely out of line. I don't care how they supposedly talk in New Jersey. You have no business telling anybody to shut up. Look in the mirror when you say that. It'll be good for you and good for us.

I tdon't think you understand what it means to show respect for the Lord, remember Jesus said,"what you have done unto to the least of these you have done unto me". Try to remember that next time you tell someone to shut up, sinmply because you don't understand them.
