I want to take a girl to NYC and I was wondering some nice places to go, like Central Park or some museum. The train tickets are going to cost $100 to begin with and with eating and stuff I'd want to try to spend as little amount of money as possible (don't call me cheap, I'm in college.) So any good places in NYC to go.

Also, how much are some Yankee tickets in the Bronx?

The West Village (Greenwich Village) is beautiful and very walkable....a nice place to find inexpensive places to eat and/or drink. After checking out a museum, head there.
Take the subway to Christopher Street/Sheridan Square and head over to Bleeker and Morton Street for a great inexpensive meal at Risotteria. They have a ton of different Risotto dishes, nice little romantic place. I love the one with Shrimp, Hot Pepper and Arugula. Most entrees are around $10. For a great dessert she'll love, go to the Magnolia Bakery...about 6 blocks north on Bleeker at 11th Street. Great cupcakes, this was the place made famous on
Sex and the City. Yankee tickets are hard to get and very expensive. You won't be disappointed by these choices.

Central Park is free. You could spend hours there its so nice. There are vendors selling hot dogs, water, etc and also ice cream vendors..its a cheap lunch and snack... find a pretty spot in the park to chill out and eat.

Theres lots to do in the park, i saw people jogging, riding bikes, carriage rides, people on rowboats in the Lake..

Have fun.
