has anyone had their wrist fused. has it healed correcly?

cowboydoc, i had my wrist fused 4 days ago. swelling, numbness, brusing, ect what eles can i expect. my hand had lost most r o m before surgery. before this surgery the other dr had fused other bones whitch lead me to the last opion.i would appreciate any advice or imfo you can so things would get better. thanks again.

I had my left wrist fused about a year ago, very uncomfortable at first, had to learn new ways to use my hand. I need my right wrist fused also but, will wait until there's no other option.
You don't know what you've missed until it's gone.
