First things i American’s was born and raised. Wages going down because companies are going overseas for cheaper wages. The American people have gotten spoiled lazy most kids today don't want to work a lot. Americans got where they look at down at all other people. And the sad thing is we are all equal. People don't own the USA the Lord God almighty does. The Lord said how can you love the Lord Jesus Christ when you can't love your own brother. The Bible teaches us that everyone is your brother. The Lord is coming sooner then must think. Don’t be surprised when you are left behind. The Lord said to love others as you love your self.

I am an American I agree with you on this.

These anti-illegals don't understand the what could happen if the US elects a dictator and decides to deport every "illegal." They have no clue.

But 12 million people will not be deported, it's a fact.

There is one itty-bitty point that you have missed. We get a lot of our food from other countries, like Brazil, and other South American countries. Foods that are out of our growing season are imported, so the impact of losing the illegal work force would have little over all effect on America. I think that it is the best interest of Mexico that we do shut down the border, and deport all of the illegals. By placing a bounty on them would help things out, a lot, in order to rid us of them. The impact of this on Mexico might be that the desired reforms, as well as a better government may very well become a reality when they are stuck in their own country, with a lingering knowledge of life in America.

Not to worry - our government and law enforcement can't even find "The FBI 10 MOST Wanted" or "Americas Most Wanted" - they don't stand a chance of finding 12 million people who don't want to be found.

Finding and rounding up - and deporting 12 millions people would be like rounding up and deporting the entire population of Colorado, Nevada and Arizona - combined.

Ain't possible --- ain't gonna happen.

The bill that died in the Senate also had funding for more border control agents, virtual fences and millions of other funds to tighten our borders, ports and airports. That all went with the bill....

All those folks who have been laying low can go back to work now. Commerce depends upon this cheap labor force - always has - and the government won't do anything to impeded it.

Immigration reform is dead in the water - kaput!

Don't believe it. When you hear a lie often enough....

In Ca. illegals are earning the same as citizens. Do you really think that American workers get other jobs like magic? They are competing for same jobs as illegals. Also you have industries that illegals have taken over such as landscaping and construction...so the citizens were forced to move on to other states in order to WORK and afford housing.

In WWII many jobs were left vacant as men went off to fight. In addition to these vacant jobs, new jobs were created for war needs. Americans managed to fill all these jobs and costs did not rise but lowered.

When you have a rise in population (illegals), the cost of living also rises. Less population means lower costs. Jobs are created with a rise in population, and less jobs are needed with a reduction in population!

This is a fact... I agree!! This is why farmers and employers want to hire illegals. They will work for less than minimum wage. This in turn leads to more money when they well their produce and the produce is sold in the stores for less money. This is a fact!!! Organic food stores that one buys expensive produce they do not come from these kind of farms. They are privately owned which leads to it being more expensive.

SO yes, it will lead to an increase in produce prices for sure!!!!

There will be no kicking out of illegal immigrants there is just no way. Oh and for who ever wants to know facts, in an article it stated only 40% or illegals are Mexican. So I hope people get off this thing that Mexicans are this and that!!

No i'm not an illegal, nor am I Mexican. Just a tired Citizen who is fed up with the racial stereotyping or groups. Know your facts before you make a statement. People act like they are terrorists. It is just beyond ridiculous, yet they are willing to hire them to mow their lawns and do cheap labor?

Looks more to me like our LEGAL teenagers won't have to compete with illegals for start out jobs.

Yeah. We'll kick them out and bring the money back into this economy instead of mailing the proceeds south of the border. Your question fails on it's basic premise.

Really, so can you tell me how much illegals cost the American taxpayers in the form of welfare for anchor babies, free medical care, education and social services? The numbers are in the billions. Illegals take out a heck of a lot more than they put into the economy. Not to mention the social burden from the crime and disease that illegal aliens bring in. Want the facts? Look at the data provided by the Center Of Immigration Studies: http://www.cis.org/topics/costs.html

Who will take the low paying jobs you say? Start cutting back on welfare and you'll start seeing millions of people who have been living off welfare back in the factories, construction yards and fields.

Its arrogance, even in the face of another "Great Depression" is commendable. The American economy has become kinda dependent on "foreign help" in virtually every aspect of their economy now.

What they are doing are first signs of "panic".

I'm pro-immigrant -- legal and illegal, but you have presented a really, really poor argument.

The real problem affecting the U.S. working class is declining wages and the offshoring of good-paying jobs. That is the expected result of globalization which opens the borders of all nations to international capital while enslaving the local populations to the nation-state. The only solution to the abuses inflicted upon the working class by international capital is an international labor movement. The old union battle-cry of "an injury to one is an injury to all" is as true as ever -- only now that battle-cry is an international one.

The American worker isn't interested in Mexicans coming here and being our slaves. The American worker is concerned that the Mexican worker is coming here and pushing down our wages. What the American worker is finding difficult to learn is that the sealing of borders will do nothing to alleviate that problem.

Our wages are being attacked by our own wealthy elite who dominate our lives in every capacity. They rule our workplace, the media, our education system and all aspects of our government. It is that ruling elite that is using their massive wealth to promote their agenda of class warfare on an international basis. The true enemy of the American public is not the Mexican worker or any other foreign workers.

The true enemy is our own wealthy capitalists whose greed and desire for ever-more wealth is insatiable. The pursuit of that wealthy elite is to roll back all of the progressive gains made by the American worker over the past century. It was that wealthy elite who fought against every improvement that the American worker demanded.

But the wealthy elite have the upper hand now, and only an international labor movement that pursues the decent treatment of all of the world's workers can save the American worker from his ultimate fate of demise into that of third world worker status -- a fate his ancestors in the late 19th and early 20th century knew well.

Oh Nooooooo you mean we might have a prayer of getting the Massive healthcare debt and SSI paid off? Legal immigrants may get a chance to come here. Your sense of entitlement is twisted. If food goes up Which it won't because of the amount of unskilled legal immigrants who would LOVE to have those jobs. But maybe if Illegals go home two Asprin will cease to cost $10 during a hospital stay. Our healthcare cost are what they are because I have to pay for Illegals and their spouses and children. Wrap your head around the reality of the Illegal immigration burden. By the way only 2% of all food picked in the fields of this country is done by illegals.

Immigrant labor is being scapegoated by the U.S. ruling elite who are the real criminals. It is the super-rich who are responsible for the driving down of American's wages and they are diverting our attention in a direction that is harmless to themselves and their position of privilege.
