JOHN MICHAEL TALBOT!!!!!
create in me
a clean heart oh God
let me be like you in all my ways
give me your strength
teach me your song
shelter me in the shadow of your wings
for we are your righteousness
if we've died to ourselved, and lived through your death
then we shall be born again to be blessed in your love

The only hymnal I've had extensive contact with is that published by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. It borrows several hymns from other Christian denominations (with proper permission from the copyright owners) plus a good number of hymns written by latter-day saints.

My favorite hymn writers are Parley P. Pratt, Eliza R. Snow, and W. W. Phelps.

My favorite hymns include The Sprit of God (by W. W. Phelps); Come, Follow Me (by John Nicholson); Jesus, Once of Humble Birth (by Parley P. Pratt)
