I can't find a good place to advertise my puppies. I have 5 eight week old retrievers and really need to find a home. However, it seems many won't allow posting of pets anymore. Those that do charge a litters price!! Thanks everyone!!

So far all about the same answers I know. I am thankful. I do have posters all over, vets, stores, pet related businesses, etc. They are Golden Retrievers, 8 weeks of age almost 9. First shots and I appreciate your opinions on pet populations, but that is not the comment I am looking for at the moment. Thanks and have a great week.

Your Vet's office is a good idea or the newspaper. Be sure and list the health testing that has been done on both parents, including the OFA test results of both the sire and dam.
The medical screenings of the litter and at least 3 generations of the puppies. The buyers will want to know that the puppies are from sound, tested parents with a good pedigree, so that they know they are getting a healthy puppy.
Since your Vet will have all the recorded information on the dam, (including copies of the OFA rating, genetic tests, etc.) he/she should be able to refer buyers to you or speak with buyers regarding your health guarantees on the puppies.
Good luck.

i would check your local newspaper, or pennysaver. If they dont allow you to post an advertisment then you could post somthing at your local libraryo or in a local business. You could also try your local radio station but might be charged a fee. Happy to Help!

You need to wait until the pups are 8 weeks old before you try to sell them a good site is www.hoobly.com.

You can list them on puppyfind.com. It is a very nice site that breeders and buyers can go to. As always....be very careful when buying/selling anything on-line. Please remember that puppies should not go to new homes until they are 8 weeks old and have their 1st set of shots. Good luck!

Try a local paper. You should be able to recoup the cost from selling the pups. Try to make sure they will all go to good homes. Good luck!

Have you tried at your vets office, they usually always do because odds are it will be another patient.
