Does anyone know of any free camp sites in NJ? Around Toms River and Pt Pleasant is preferable.

Wharton State Forest has wilderness campsites for $1 with no entrance fee.

Check out http://www.recreation.gov/ it's a government site that has all the campgrounds in America. It's great for gathering info and making reservations.
