REI can help you to pick one out They have quality items Color shouldnt be your first consideration though You will learn a lot if you go just shopping w/o buying anything as they are customer friendly and have good return policies The other stores you take a chance Ive had to bring some back andheld my breath hoping they wouldnt give me a hard timeKeep all the receipts and the packaging as yo never know how those cheaper ones will turn out and practice setiting up in backyard first! Try to get one with a full sized rainfly .A tarp for underneath the tent will keep it from getting too dirty esp if wet weather.Consider one tall enough to stand up ins ide if you want comfort to get dressed. Use the seam sealants before you go-if you go to REI website there are lots of tips (I dont buy everything there but they are a great resource)

***** Sporting Goods, Sports Authority, Bass Pro Shops, REI, LL Bean, Wal Mart, K Mart, Target, Sears, Gander Mountain.

A dome style tent is the simpliest to put up. If you are talking 3 adults, get a tent rated for 5 or 6 not 3. 3 adults are a tight fit in a "3 person" tent.

Hi. I hope you and your friends/family have a terrific time camping. Being prepared head of time is a great idea.

If you go to Sports Authority this weekend....they are having a huge sale on all their camping gear. Tents/Tarps/all ground covers/tables etc and of course Coleman camping gear.

Target has some nice things...but my opinion is Sports Authority is the best. If anything happens....they always stand behind their products.

Don't forget insect repellant....make ahead some foods and store in containers with frozen blocks of ice...you can make ahead of time...by using regular tap water and put it in containers and freeze in freezer...the longer the better.

Take them out the am of your trip and pack in your cooler. They last around 356-48 hrs. We do this during our Hurricane season here in Florida.

Have fun & enjoy.

four man dome tents, really simple to assemble, cost about 30$ at wal-mart.
or a tarp for 9$ or so, works pretty well too.

i got one at walmart and it is the easiest thing to set up EVER. all the bars are attached at the center (It kind of looks like a spider) and the tent just snaps up. No fumbling around. Everyone I was with commented on how great it was.

It was a lot like this one

You can find them at several different stores. Wal Mart has nice ones. They sell coleman. Any outfitter stores. Most of them are pretty easy to set up. Dome are probably about as simple as it gets.
