Go get premade dough from the store or Bertucci's. Or look up pizza dough recipe. My mom makes it all the time. really simple, flour, salt, yeast, water. Rise once. Spread on stone rise a little bit. Preheat oven to 500(yes 500) degrees and move a rack to the bottom. Add toppings. Bake on bottom rack for like 10 minutes until done. If you don't have a stone don't use the very bottom rack as this would burn your pizza. Toss veggies generously in olive oil before topping your za and be generous with the toppings.

NEW YORK STYLE PIZZA

BASIC PIZZA DOUGH:

Cornmeal, if using a pizza peel
About 1/2 c. olive oil, preferably extra-virgin
3 c. (about 12 oz.) shredded Mozzarella cheese
3 garlic cloves, minced or pressed
Toppings, choose 1 or a combination: cooked & crumbled sweet Italian sausage, anchovy fillets, sauteed sliced fresh mushrooms, sliced pepperoni, sliced cooked Italian meatballs, sliced green or red sweet pepper, sliced red or yellow sweet onion, ripe olives, crushed dried red chili pepper (all opt.)
1 1/2 tsp. dried oregano
1/3 c. (about 1 1/2 oz.) freshly grated Parmesan cheese

Prepare the dough and preheat the oven. Roll out or stretch the pizza dough and place the dough on a pizza peel generously sprinkled with cornmeal or on a lightly oiled pizza screen. Brush dough all over with the best quality extra virgin olive oil, then add the Mozzarella cheese, (shredded Mozzarella cheese for pizza baking is available at the warehouse clubs in 5 pound bags and may be frozen before use), leaving a 1/2 inch border around the edges. Top with the garlic and cover with the tomato sauce. Put the tomato sauce over the Mozzarella to get a good crust. Add 1 or more of the toppings, if desired, and sprinkle with the oregano and the fresh grated Parmesan cheese. Drizzle evenly with olive oil.
Transfer the pizza to the preheated baking surface and bake until the crust is golden brown and puffy, about 10 minutes. Remove from the oven to a cutting tray or board and lightly brush the crust with olive oil. Slice and serve immediately.

My husband created this recipe:

Dough:
4 cups flour
1 packet yeast
1/2 tsp salt
4 tbsp margarine
1 cup milk (this is under vegan/vegetarian section, so maybe just try water if you don't do milk)
1 tbsp sweet basil

mix together - knead with hands. roll-out or flatten on a pizza stone (preferabe - pizza pan is okay). you might pop this in a 400 deg.F oven for 5 min. while doing the sauce.

Sauce: (my recipe)
1 can tomato sauce (15 oz)
1 can tomato paste (6 oz)
1/2 tbsp garlic (3 tsp?)
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp lemon pepper
1/2 tbsp parsley
1 tbsp oregano

combine in small sauce pan. spread sauce on prepared pizza dough & add desired toppings (cheese, veggies, etc)

Bake at 400 degrees (F) until dough edges are light brown and cheese is melted & golden.

Enjoy!! This one doesn't take too long to prepare, just make sure you have all the ingredients before you start.

Use a prepared pizza crust for the easiest preparation. Otherwise there are many good crust recipes to be found on the Internet. I use my bread machine to make it to the last step of shaping it and the final rise, which makes it easy if you have one.
A prepared pasta sauce in a jar is another time saver-just use one you already like. Or be creative and use EVOO/roasted garlic or pesto instead of tomato sauce. You know your date's likes/dislikes better that I do.
After that there's no end to the topping ideas-onions, peppers and mushrooms is my favorite.
Best of luck.

For easy tasty pizza, go to the store and buy 2 bags of pizza crust mix, a jar of Ragu` pizza sauce, mozzarella cheese, and fresh toppings of your choice.

Slice fresh veggies, and/or prepare meat toppings. Pre-heat oven to 375; then

Mix pizza dough according to directions on package, lightly grease pizza pan with shortening or butter, and press dough out into pan with slightly greased hands. Spread layer of sauce over dough, then a layer of cheese, then add the rest of your toppings.

Bake at 375 for aprox. 20 to 25 minutes, or until edges are golden brown. Take out slice and enjoy!

I think the effort you are making should impress this girl, good luck!

I take it she's vegetarian.
take a soft tortilla shell and put on a layer of humus, then thin sliced cucumbers, sliced red onion and black olives. If she's not vegetarian you can add thin slices of smoked salmon or chicken
