I am hosting a baby shower on Saturday and would love to have some games that are different from the norm. This could be any thing that is fun for a bunch of women to do together. Don't have much space either. It would be great to be baby related but if you have something fun that is not - let me hear it.

When guest comes in, have them wear a pin with bow (if you know the sex of the baby) and tell them they can not say the word "Baby", cross their legs or arms ... That would be the hardest thing to do ... If the guest sees other guest do it they take the pin ... or hear the word "Baby"
Other thing is to put jelly beans in the bottle and guess how many jelly beans are in there (it can be other candies like M&M)
One baby shower I went to they gave everyone bottles (the ones that the mother wants to feed the baby that way you can give it to the mother after the shower) filled with apple juice and whoever can finish it first wins ...
Other thing is make a chart if you don't know the sex of the baby then you can use it ... Name, when will the baby be born, sex of the baby, weight and length ... when the baby is born and you can mail the prize (gift card will be the best) to the winner ... If you know the sex of the baby then just delete the sex of the baby part

First of all the most UNIQUE and FUN idea I can think of is a poker tournament....with a package of diapers as the "Buy In". You could even go so far as to decorate poker chips with stickers that are "baby" (go to Wal mart, dollar store, etc. and see what you find!) I think this could be A LOT of fun....just make sure the winner gets a great gift certificate or prize because diapers ARE NOT CHEAP!! the aim of the game is to get to the highest number without 2 or more people standing up at the same time.
randomly someone stands up and says 1
then someone else will say 2 and so on.
but if 2 people stand up at the same time you have to go back to 0 again!

well you always have baby bingo. copy a sheet of squares and have people fill them in with what they think the gifts will be and mark them off as she opens them
and once i was at a shower where we all got a safety pin attached to our shirts. everytime you caught someone with their legs/feet crossed you got their pin. the one with the most pins at the end of the shower won
these aren't time consuming because they are ongoing all day, and they take up little space. and it gets them interacting with one another. people cheat at the bingo so bad. copying off their neighbor, and they pin thing, it can get a little outta hand if you have the right people involved.

use both parents names and see how many babay names you can come up with using those two
put soda in a baby bottle and see who can chug it the fastest
put a piece of paper on your head and try to draw a baby
put a melted candy on a diaper and try to guess what candy it is

How about buying lots of plain white bibs or onezies and some fabric paint and brushes so people can decorate them for the Mom.
