Just be upfront and honest, if you have been sexually active and showing no outwardly signs of any symptom whatsoever I would think he might send a blood sample to see if any markers(antibodies) are present...♥

I think it would be wise to think about all the things you want to be tested for. This way you can go in and say "I would like to be checked for a, b, c & d" and you ensure you are getting checked for all the things you want. One person's "all" is not another's. Or, you could research beforehand, and then ask your doc which tests "all" would include. And if there are others you wanted, you can say "that's great, but can we also test for ___?"
Hope this helps!

Ask the doctor what their STD panel includes. If they don't say what you think you need to be tested for, than ask for it to be added. Also ask for Hiv to be included. They will draw several vials of blood and send them to a lab. They should tell you how long it will take to get the results.
I hope it all turns out well!

you could ask for a thorough sexual health check which should include a HIV Test, STI test and Hepatitis test. all you can do with your doctor is be honest and say you would just like to be tested especially if you have been exposed to the risk of transmission to one of these.

It is possbile to be tested for all std's but some are an additional charge I would want to be tested even if you have not had unprotected sex.
