Everyone is right about it being made from pigs blood, but you can actually buy vegetarian black pudding. I've not tried it but I found it really easily by google-ing it :)
If you click on the second link I've put at the bottom the vegetarian black pudding is the last one on the page....looks quite nice actually.

There is nothing vegetarian about black/blood pudding.

The blood of a number of different animals can be used and is not vegetarian acceptable.

In the normal way, just stick a 'suitable for vegetarian' sticker on it. Whack the price up, and Bobs your aunty. Some of them seem to believe anything they read so I doubt many would question it
In a few days they would be on here claiming that they have found a wonderful alternative to black pudding and there is no longer any need to keep killing the ickle fluffy animls

If you want to eat truly healthy, lose body fat consistently, normalize your blood pressure, cholesterol levels, prevent cancer, and even boost your brain health and energy levels, you may have heard all over the news that the Paleo Diet has been found to be one of the best methods of achieving all of these benefits compared to any other popular "fad" diets out there. Go here https://biturl.im/aU6sR

The truth is that the Paleo Diet will never be considered a fad because it's just simply the way that humans evolved to eat over approximately 2 million years. And eating in a similar fashion to our ancestors has been proven time and time again to offer amazing health benefits, including prevention of most diseases of civilization such as cancer, heart disease, alzheimers, and other chronic conditions that are mostly caused by poor diet and lifestyle. One of the biggest misunderstandings about the Paleo Diet is that it's a meat-eating diet, or a super low-carb diet. This is not true

Theres a firm called Irelands in , I think Burnley, who make a vege black pudding.I was curious too so i asked

Its pretty much the same mix of spices as normal, but with chickpeas etc as the filler the colour is a lot of fresh beetroot added when theyre mixing it

So i got some for my gf at the time, and it didnt taste too bad at all,not as nice as their usual puddings, but pretty good.

you can also get vege haggis, made by Mac Sweens

Why would you want to? The veggie equivalent would probably be a vegetable juice puree concoction that would have no connection with black pudding which is made principally of blood.

Why would you want to, I do not understand why vegetarians including myself consume pretend meat disses. There are million of recipes out there that have nothing to do with these synthetic meal options.
I am going to take your question and use it to become a better vegetarian.

You can't as it's made of blood. I've never seen a vegetarian soya version either.
