Well, until I became vegetarian I have never had meat or especially fish or anything from sea craving. I don't know why, I ate meat only because parents said that I need to and that we can get sick if we don't eat meat, but when I found out that was not true I turned vegetarian very soon. I used to like shish-kebab in the past, but I never had craving for it and now too, I don't have any craving for it at all, actually thinking about any kind of meat dish makes me feel sick...

I was never a real big meat eater in the first place (before I was a vegetarian)... So I never had cravings for it... Honestly it kind of grossed me out...
But when I gave up dairy and eggs... I did used to have cravings for cheese and stuff (I actually went back to eating it for a few days, but I felt bad and stopped eating it) Now I don't have cravings... Now when I think about milk and eggs it grosses me out... Since I haven't eaten it for so long (plus I know what is in it...yuk)

I gave up meat when I was 16. About a year after going veg I had a craving for a cold roast beef sandwich, but it passed and I have honest to god never craved meat since.

When I first turned vegetarian there were some cravings, but I think that is because my recipe knowlege was limited. As I was able to prepare various dinners, lunches, etc the craving vanished. Well sort of, now I crave snow peas, lol.

I have been a vegetarian for a little over a month now, and yes, sometimes I do crave things... like I saw a commercial for Hebrew National's hotdogs and then I wanted one, but then I remembered that there are smart dogs - http://www.lightlife.com/smartdogs.html - and I can eat those.
I think as I get deeper into my 'vegetarianism', I'll stop craving, but seeing what happens to those animals before they end up on your plate is cruel and disgusting and can eliminate that craving:

Yes, I do. So I go online and watch the video of the cows being slaughtered, or the baby chicks being dumped into the garbage just because they're boys and can't lay eggs and the craving goes away really fast.
Morningstar Farms fakey meat products have helped too.

I was never a vegetarian until last September...I saw a video of animals being killed for meat, and it horrified me! Of course I crave it sometimes though. I miss hamburgers and chicken...but don't remember what other meats taste like, so I don't remember what they taste like. All I do when I crave meat is to think of how that animal was killed, and it makes me sick to think of biting into a piece of meat.

Never. I turned vegetarian overnight, no looking back. Once I knew and understood the horrors of what is happening to those animals before they hit my plate, I never craved it.
I guess some people will argue that we are supposed to eat meat because we have k-9s in our mouths, but if you think about it, we did master agriculture a thousand years ago--that and we are rational beings who should make the choice NOT to eat other sentient beings.
But, that's just how I feel...I respect everyone's opinion. I'm not one of those crazy preacher vegetarians. My boyfriend eats meat, and althought I'm not fond of him doing that, it's his choice.

I eat seafood, but no meat. The one thing I miss most is smokey flavors, like bacon, salami, and smoked ham. Which is weird, because I never ate that much of those things in the past anyway. I guess you don't know what you've got til it's gone. But there are so many substitutions for things (veggie meats, facon/fake bacon, smoked mozzarella and smoked gouda are favs or mine) that you can always find something for your craving.
