yesterday afternoon, as i was buying lunch, i noticed a small, painfull (2 on a scale of 1-10) beginings of a bump.... felt more like a misquito or spider bite, but i don´t recall getting bit, and hours before there was nothing.... just like all of a sudden ouch, what´s this thing....

this morning its looking like a small blister (very similar to a cigarette burn) still hurts a little bit, i don´t feel sick, have no problem eating or drinking, and have never had anything like this before.....

i´ve been in the sun a lot in the last few days, can you feel the exact moment when a herpe will start? do i have oral herpes? i´m hoping its just some bee or spider bite.... as of now its been less than 24 hours, the blister is about the diamater of a cigarette.....

It may very well be a cold sore (HSV-1). The sun is one well known "trigger" of herpes outbreaks. Most people are infected with HSV-1 (usually presents as cold sores) and some people are prone to more outbreaks than others....some may have only one outbreak in their lifetime, others are not so lucky.

When an outbreak is about to start most people feel a tingling, itching, or burning sensation. If you get a lot of these outbreaks I would suggest speaking to your family physician about suppressive therapy (if you get a LOT of outbreaks) or medicine to shorten the outbreak once it begins.

I would also suggest that you not perform oral sex on anyone until it goes away or until you speak with a physician.

Remember it could be something else, entirely. If it gets worse or you are worried, make an appt to se your doctor.

If she has bloodless sores, then there's a well danger. Cold sores are a sort of Herpes and one could reason the opposite. Performing oral intercourse on any person who has herpes will reason bloodless sores too. And as for Ashlee W's reply, it is honestly extra like a million in eight humans who've herpes (even though oddly sufficient I've under no circumstances spoken to anybody who has it), so if you are significantly concered, you must deffinately see a health practitioner. Because it is extra usual than you can also feel.

While it could be herpes (HSV-1 is not generally classified as an STD and can be transmitted other ways) it could also be a host of other things. I don't know if it will help or not but here's the link to a doctor's website with pictures of all sorts of mouth bumps, lumps, and blisters that may have a picture of what you're looking at. Hope you can figure it out! Get well soon!
