Anytime a child complains of chest pain and keeps complaining, she needs to see her physician. The fact that her personality has changed should alert you that something is definately not right.

Any chest pain accompanied by shortness of breath is a cause to worry. If she were my daughter I'd take her to the doctor.

Please take her to the doctor immediately. It could be a heart problem, asthma, panic attacks, and much more.

My son started having chest pain around age 17. It turned out to be severe panic attacks. He is 37 now and still on medication for it.

Don't waste any time getting her to a doctor. Take her tomorrow.

sounds like she could be developing asthma in which it can be very serious if she is not on medication to control it,the pain will cause her to eat less and become nauseated, a lot of people with asthma suffer chest pain and pain radiating down their arms, give some paracetamol to help.
