As far as I know, I don't think there a specific law out there. The girl that works in our office, when she was 17 she took her little brother camping. This Friday she's taking her brother and his cousin camping. She just turned 18. I say you and your friends go ahead, go camp and have fun

There can be. many state parks and most national parks require some member of the party to be over 18 to camp in a developed campground. Many back country sites don't care what age you are.

i used to go camping under 18 all the time. I've even been stopped by road blocks going into parks and was never asked my age. National or State parks are owned by you, the taxpayer. i find it hard to believe that anyone would hassle you about you age...unless you are bring alcohol.

Do you have an older friend? It may be a good idea to bring he/she along.
