I'm having three friends over to hang out/ spend the night on thurs. (it's just for fun since i haven't seen them in a while). What should me and my mom make for dinner? we always seem to be ordering pizza and i'm bored of that. Two of them can spend the night (one of them has a crazy mom who won't let her) but they'll all be there for dinner. That day, we just plan on hanging out and playing on the Wii (very fun). But yeah! any suggestions are great. (i'm fifteen, so we don't want anything too weird or fancy)

How fun! Ok, so here are some thoughts:

1. Homemade pizza (Boboli crust, your toppings, lots of experimentation)
2. Cold cut and cheese sub sandwiches
3. Homemade nachos
4. Taco bar
5. Lasagne
6. Chef's salads
7. Barbecued chicken, potato salad, etc.
8. Pre cooked meal from your local supermarket
9. Chinese take-out
10. Potluck...have each girl bring their favorite dish.

I think homemade stir fry would be fun for you to make and it is really not that difficult. Just make some steamed rice, and then cook some chicken or shrimp or whatever kind of meat you want, and then pick out some fresh veggies you like. Add soy sauce and lemon juice and voila. If that is too difficult, they have stir fry mix in the freezer section of the grocery store that you can pick up. Some fortune cookies would be a fun finish to your meal!

First.........who is paying? You or your mom?
How about you gals cook together.
Sloppy Joes are good, but since it's a girls night, call them Sloppy Janes. Since you are young, frozen french fries in the oven are good, just give them some "zip", with grated parmesan cheese (the dry crud in the can would work),after they come out of the oven nice and hot..... and a dipping sauce......(easy......1/2 C mayo, 1/4 C ketchup mix well) for an added "kick" add a few drops of hot sauce.

Don't forget popcorn for later.
I hope you have a wonderful time...........and maybe.......if you behave yourselves, the girl's "crazy" mom might let her stay. Remember........that girl's "crazy"mom might have other plans, so watch out.

Have your friends help you and your mom put a simple lasagna or spaghetti and salad together. While the lasagna bakes you and your friends can have fun with your Wii.

yeah the wii sounds good if they have remotes, but for dinner, maybe you guys could make spaghetti! I love spaghetti, so that's just my opinion.

What about tacos or nachos, or both? They are quick and easy, and everyone can pick what they like as far as toppings and so on.

Fajitas, you can buy pre-seasoned meat and all you have to do is cook it up. Then have chips, salsa & queso for an appetizer thing.
