i want to have a 16th birthday party but im not sure what to do. i cant have it cost a lot of money though. so help pleaseeee!

On my 16th, I had a bon-fire and we grilled hamburgers and hotdogs and I had all of my friends over. It was a lot of fun, cheap and simple.

Have a luau. Get some leis, grass skirts, glasses, umbrella straws from the dollar store and make little gift bags filled with this stuff for the people that come. Cook out, play some great games like capture the flag, corn hole, volleyball, & make a great cd mix and dance the night away.
It doesnt take a ton of money to have a great party.

I think the best is to come up with a theme that you can make decorations and favors for. Set up a borrowed video camera in front of borrowed karaoke machine, have an american idol theme (but dont' tell the kids the theme or they'll prepare!) You can make glittery decorations set up a judges table for 3 adults to judge. Make funny virgin drinks like the Simon Cowell Sour Lemonade, ya know? Anything thats popular like that with kids will be a hit.

All I know is that any party will cost a lot of money...especially a sweet 16 party.
Keep it cheap by having some girlfriends over, slumber party, movies, lots of snacks, do each other's hair and nails.... you know something like that.

Have it be a themed 50's party.
Burn cd's with all the classic songs like "twist and shout"
Make everyone come wearing 50's attire (big cute dresses, pony tails, scarves, pomps, levis rolled up for the boys)
And you guys can dance and stuff
Make it look like its out of the movie Grease or Hairspray.

I'm assuming your a girl so have something like a sleepover. Add a pinata, cake, have music and make your house themed as your favorite holiday or activity

just invite your friends to your house and if you have small tape take it to your bedroom and start to play before your friends come in.
