The built in charger makes for a heavy light. best bet would be a led lantern with good fresh batteries you should get a whole season out of one set of batteries.

Since you don't have much of a chance to recharge, I'd definately go with the disposible battery ones. Later, you can always get some rechargable batteries in the proper size and just use those from then on.

The battery ones because like you said, you have little recharging possibilities. And you could always buy rechargeable batteries IF you had recharging availiable. Besides, the battery ones are also cheaper in price.

Camping lanterns are a must-have item for campers who plan to spend evenings under the stars. Once the sun goes down, these lanterns are essential for lighting the campsite, both inside and outside the tent.

Camping lanterns generally fall into two categories. Although there are other alternatives to these more popular models, battery powered camping lanterns and fuel powered camping lanterns are the two most common types for campers to choose from.

Some lanterns offer more light, while others offer greater degree of safety, which should be considered if small children will be near the lantern. Also, fuel powered lanterns are not recommended for use inside of a tent.

Since you'll be 2 weeks without charging, I think you might want to consider the battery type and a supply of spare batteries. Also be sure to have a few spare candles with you!

Both are nice but the best ones are the kind that you can recharge by a hand generator. I'm not sure what brand it is but they are very nice.

the battery ones are good and the batteries should last well providing you don't keep them on all night. take a good supply of spares. i am going camping in 2 wks, hope the weather gets better for us both!
