My friend and I were in a party store looking for her son's 4th b-day party invites. We saw these GREAT bridal shower invites, decorations, favors, etc. We started wishing we could have our bridal showers all over again. Then I thought WHY NOT?? I have a "girls only" martini party ever summer. Everyone is married. Would it be weird to have it themed "bridal party" and have sort of a mock shower? Also, what else could I add to this theme? thanks

you dont even have to us bridal shower items. I am sure there is some thing you cna use that would be better.

I think it's a great idea! A person turns an age only once, right? But at the same time you have a birthday party every year. An anniversary marks years of marriage, but it's done more than once, also. There's nothing weird about it; it's just like any other party.
You can add cakes and lots of sweets to your party. You can have a roses theme, make it outside under a tent, maybe hire photographers, and get carried away just like on a wedding! Good luck and wish to be there :-)

wonderful idea everyone could even bring a small gift and put on a table and each person gets a gift great way to get something new for yourself or your home themed parties are the best everyone could even bring a wedding photo to see how much everyone has changed over time it could be called second time around bridal shower

I think its a wonderful idea, it adds to the fun of your martini party which you have every year, make if different, a bridle shower can be fun, and a nice way to reminisce on your wedding days.
I think you should get everyone to wear white.
Just don't bring out the red wine...

i think that is a fun idea. Maybe you could have a grab bag where everyone brings a shower gift and wraps it up pretty. That way each girl gets a present just like at the shower. Have fun!

I think it would be cute... Everyone should bring their wedding albums and other old wedding items like the veil. Or it could be a costume party and everyone wears an old ugly bridesmaid dress. It could be alot of fun... Buy lots of wedding magazines to look at. Watch My Big Fat Greek Wedding, The Wedding Singer, and Wedding Crashers.. Or have a lingere party... Sexy lingere you should wear around your husband.
Have a male part cake..... It sounds like a really cute idea!

A girl only party would be fun. Have makeup samples, recipe ideas exchange baby items, or let everybody bring one item of clothing to exchange for somelses, ( or purses would be fun) put a limt on price, Have a pink theme. martinis greaat choice.

If your friends are up for it then you should do it. This party idea would probably work better if you have a small group of women. You should have fun games and stuff. A very original idea I must say. Best of luck!
